would you look at that huh :) Sidenote*: it has come to my attention that if different units have the same amount of total HP, they will attack after strength, so its not completely random. but you still want to layer your strongest heroes last (mercs and monsters) this strategy works well if you want consistency in your progression! i would also add that the more layers you have in your attack, the better the results. so if you get your monsters in there as well that would do wonders. to get the best out of an attack you'd want 20+ layers. its really hard to get unless you're at Guardsmen 5. at G5 you unlock more units, same with S5 (vaultures, deadshots, lion riders, swordsmen). Also, during the merc trader event, try to get some additional mercs. you can get really good mercs from the exchanger for really not that much silver. like 3,5-7m silver for 1 unit of mercs. use Tengel captain to march across the kingdoms faster, with the drum artifact if you have it. as stated in the video you do get less valor and exp etc. BUT you get consistency with you attacks. i would rather have the same results 10/10 times rather than having a 50/50 chance to get a good hit and tons of valor and exp. this saves you sacred potions and gold, since you dont burn through your strongest troops all at once. I've just started watching videos to get some "answers" for Total Battle. The game really doesn't have good support for a lot of the questions I have. You've said in some of your videos: "if you want a video about certain aspects of the game, just leave a comment". Well I don't know if you want to make a video or just give me some pointers. But I want to know: 1) what equipment should be pair with each of the captains to maximize their potential, 2) what gems & enchantments should we attach to those pieces of equipment and 3) which artifacts should we pair up with each captain? I know that's a lot. But I feel like I'm just guessing on all of these things. The three that I did find for equipment when I was researching were: Carter/Tomb Raider equipment, Aurora/Honored Ruler equipment and Stror/Swift Wayfarer equipment. But that's just the tip of the iceberg for all the info I want! lol I wish all this information was in a guide for the game. Everyone is just winging it. It's almost like they don't want you to know how to make all your captains as efficient as possible. ??? Thanks for your help.

Hello @tonycarroll5221. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I certainly can help you out. I was in the same boat you are in currently and to be honest, I still have many of my captains with mixed equipment that is not suited for them. LOL. I will put a video together for you!! I have 1 video in the hopper I need to edit and then I'll start this one. Its probably going to be a couple weeks. For overall length, I will probably pick 1 or 2 captains to do examples of, or as you mentioned, maybe a series where I do 1 captain in each video. Are you in a clan? and if so, what is the overall might of your clan?

@@JackHammerJoeI am in a clan and it ranks #47. Not a very strong clan at all. My might is actually 3-4 times that of our leader. And most of our clan members are very weak (probably new to the game). So they are never any help with raids and such. As far as the video you are going to make, I hope you can touch on ALL aspects of my questions. Maybe walk through one or two captains from equipment to gems to enchantments to artifacts. I think it would help a great many people. Thanks for the quick response.

Not a problem. I'll outline something and post here before I record to make sure I have you covered! Your Leaders account might be a "mining" account. My guess without knowing for sure is that the largest/strongest player in your clan probably owns the leadership account and just uses it to mine silver, logs, iron, etc in the map and caravan's it to him/herself. I know that happens A LOT! There are a few players in my clan that do that.

@@JackHammerJoeWell, we didn't have a capital when I joined the clan. So the leader has just finished a fort, the capital, the academy and the masonry. She has been trying to collect as many resources to keep that going. I knew the clan wasn't that strong when I joined. She made me the Superior on the first day! And I am the clan member with the most might by far. So I've been trying to help her. But the clan is spread all over the place. Oh well. As far as the video, you don't have to post anything in here before recording. You know what you are doing. Thanks

You will definitely want to join a larger clan. Missing out on A LOT. I would recommend starting discussions with larger clans in the kingdom that have openings and have them absorb your clan. Or you can “join” them through becoming allies where they send players to your clan for 7 days at a time to build you ip

For doomsday, may I know is it possible just to send out low level captains (to level them up) together with tier 1 guardsmen?

I would recommend this more with Arachne because you can take a high level captain and send 2 low level. The high number of troops you send (and you could use only level 1) will grow the small captains faster. I believe I did a video for Arachne where I sent low level captains with level 1’s and mercs. For Doomsday it seems to be harder to kill a high number of monsters with low level troops.

@@JackHammerJoe its actually better to hit Doomsday, it has less stacks of monsters to attack than Arachne. Hitting with a low level captain is better and do not revive regular troops only revive mercs. Do not use monsters on epics, dragon coins are not easy to get so you are wasting valuable troops that can not be replaced easily.
