This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I am someone who lacks exercise and am pretty skinny. I've become somewhat weak overall due to inactivity and the weakness in my core muscles & the muscles that hold my body up in general have shifted me out of alignment, caused pains, APT, etc... This is the perfect workout for me. Thank you for this!

Doing a beginner's workout is a great way to get out of a groove and motivate yourself to test what you may think you already know or what you think you're already doing! Definitely sharing this one! ❤

I'm really liking this, two days I do it in a row already. It's prety complete unlike most strenght - no equipment workouts that focus mostly on lower part. I really can't do the push ups though, yesterday I tried in vain and ended up skipping them, today I did them at least against the wall, I still felt it working.

Reintroducing my body to strength training with this while working through long COVID, including lung issues and joint pain, as well as a very slow healing Achilles injury. Kept things shallow and easy and this felt just right. Hopefully one day I can get back into the harder workouts, but thank you for providing videos for every level!

Dear Daniel and Kelly - I've been hooked on your channel and know that I really appreciate both of you! I do exercises from it almost daily and they do work. I've increased my aerobics portion for weight loss and have been doing the other weight-training/abs related exercises as well as others by Kathy Smith, Chris Freytag and Shaun T (T25.). A while ago now, I introduced your channel to my exercise group on Facebook (10 Pound Slim Down Xtreme 28 Day Challenge- started by Chris Freytag). Many of us have been doing them in conjunction with Chris's exercises.

Thank you for posting, this was a good basic workout. Just fyi I measured the calorie burn with my FitBit Charge 2, which has a heart rate monitor. It only burned 111 calories, and your website said that it would burn 158-232. For anyone at home without a heart rate monitor, be careful to err on the conservative side when using FB's calorie burn. I knew I would be on the lower side because I am an average-sized girl, but I didn't know I would burn fewer calories than the lower end of the range.
@feazmahrafrahman99268 жыл бұрын
nicolestar91 To be fair this workout is to build up strength. So calorie count may not reach the amount mentioned. Although it should be closer to their claims.

@danholzmacher10 жыл бұрын
focus on flexing the muscles from the bottom of your ribcage to the crest of your hip. You may not be able to get much height at first but you will get better at it if you make sure the muscles in that area area being worked.

@Nobl3h3ro9 жыл бұрын
It's better than doing Cardio only. Strength training helps to keep your body toned. If you do a lot of Cardio without any strength or resistance workouts, you'll end up looking like marathon runners, where they have no fat but low muscle mass.

Have to be VERY careful with anything that has high impact on the body or knees. I do not recommend jumping jacks or any excersize involving the knees until your doctor okays you for that according to your weight. Once you blow out a knee, it's over so be very careful.
