www.buymeacoff... Welcome to the SHAPE IT Series, these workouts will sculpt your entire body with unique combination moves that get the heart rate up and the muscles burning! Using minimal equipment and your own body-weight you will see how much definition and strength you can achieve in minimal time and with minimal space. The pace is fast, but the moves are not complicated to follow so you can really focus on executing each one with perfect form.
In Shape It High to Low you will perform a grouping of exercises in a standing position, then a down dog or plank position and finally on the mat. Moving through exercises such as diagonal kicks and angled glute raises, lunge side leg raise combinations and pretzel lifts, oblique knee pulls and plank knee twists as well as front kicks with reverse plank leg extensions. There will be easier modifications shown throughout, so make sure you choose your level. To intensify this workout you can add ankle weights.

One of the many things I appreciate about your workouts is how you explain the proper body positioning. Talking us through how to keep arms straight, tummies tight, where we should be feeling it, how to hold, placement of all body parts at all times and how to breath etc, etc.. I tried to follow a video by someone else last week and ended up hurting myself forcing me to take the week off. .. It was a “simple” move I’ve never done before but I wasn’t guided on body positioning. Thank you! I’m grateful for you and glad I found you.

Sorry to hear about your injury. It is so frustrating when you get injured and can't workout. Yes, good form is sooooo important, not only because you can injure yourself, but also because the exercises are so much more effective when you are doing them right. 😊

The most boring and repetitive workout ever! WITH THAT SAID, a great workout. You definitely feel the burn. Those who do not like repetition should not do this workout. It is a lot of concentrated burn out of one side and then the other. Small weights may deceive you, but you are gonna be sore!

I consider myself to be fit, I always workout with fitness blender, hasfit, gymra and Christine Salus, I thought this would be easy, I put on 2.5 lbs ankle weights and I'm dead!!!!!!!!!!! It was so hard!!!!!!! Definitely subscribed and I've already shared this workout, INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!

Wanted to start my Saturday morning with your Pilates Band workouts that I recently bought buuut both my bands snapped so had to do something different and I did this one and it was quite challenging, in fact. I put in "Barlates" and "low impact" and this was KZbin's first suggestion. My knee is a bit sore and this did not exacerbate it at all; but it also was NOT easy! I am sweating like crazy! Thank-you!

Thank you for the video! All exercises are excellent; however, I don't see why do only one side to do the other later. I decided to alternate, or else I get tortured and bored! I also added a Theraband to some positions to intensify the workout.

The way to build up endurance is by fully fatiguing the muscle, that is why I work one side first and then the other. There are many other videos on my channel where I switch sides more frequently 😊

Great workout! don't know if this is asked below here, but it would b e nice if you could mention each exersize which leg is in front or which is doing what, causeI get confused easily and sometimes i notice I am working the same leg again as in the first round.

Hi, it is always easiest if you try to mirror me instead of being on the same leg as me. So when I am on my right leg you are actually on my left mirroring me if that makes sense. I try not to say left of right leg because when you are mirroring that would make it very confusing. When you do the workout a few times you should be able to get the hang of staying on the same leg as me (mirroring). 😀

Good job on getting half of it done! Keep at it and take breaks when you need to. You will build up your endurance very quickly if you do my workouts at least 3 times a week. 😊

Okay, this is my favorite of your workouts!! I just absolutely love this series! I liked how you put a little twist on the angles to hit the muscles differently. I also like the combination of standing and mat. I was a sweaty mess! Afterwards I did your Mat Express Inner Thigh and the Outer Thigh. I didn't sleep well so I kind of had to force myself to go to my workout room, but I knew I'd feel better if I did something : )

I have always been active and when I quit working out with heavy weights, my muscles don't get that tired feeling- what Linda was talking about in her coffee talk. Also, working out is what I do for myself, I have so much fun, and it's my fav way of spending time (other than with my husband and fur babies lol). I went through two major surgeries and almost 6 months of chemo for a rare and aggressive form of ovarian cancer (even though I'm young and have always been healthy). I came back and having been working out twice as hard as before because I don't take it for granted anymore 😀

Well that was miserable and I'm pretty fit. I used 3lb weights even though my arms are used to weight training with 8, 10 & 15lbs because prior experience has taught me to use light weights when doing compound moves. Now, the moves were plain awkward and the pace too fast to do them properly. I had to make adjustments and I did not use my weights most of the time. 22 min are spent burning out one leg before switching to the other with a mere 5 second stretch in-between. I paused and stretched more. Stretching muscles right after working them keeps them elongated and less bulky looking. I wanted to just quit after the first side because I hated it so much but ocd would not let me not get the other side "even" 🙄 🤦🏼‍♀️ My FitBit Blaze gave me 300 calories in 45 min and I could not even do all the moves. And I though Ballet Beautiful was hard...

Sorry you had such a 'miserable' experience. My workouts are tough in a very different way. If you wanted to try some of my other workouts you could start out with some of my barlates beginner routines - which are not beginner workouts as such, just easier versions of my workouts - the moves will be less complicated and you can get used to the fusion style I use. These workouts use a lot of functional training moves that at first may feel awkward, if you are not used to moving up and down, side to side and back to front a lot, but once you master the technique, improve your balance and strengthen your core you will find that the moves actually flow really well into each other. It is a muscle fatigue principle, so that is why I stay on one side for half the workout and then switch. You will be surprised how the love hate relationship can turn into a love relationship after persevering for a few weeks/months. 😀
