Took delivery of mine Thursday past. Got an SE but was in immediate stock with long wait and much more money to get the SEL or Sport line. SE has almost all I need. Just shuffling around since picking it up, taking first run out tomorrow. 😊

Dont be surprised you will get many assitants errors which apear and disapear randomly during drive, Skoda dealer can not fix it as they do not know how, it is a general bug if all new VW group cars, maybe except Audi and Porsche

Very nice review. Especially about the fuel economy, but also the rest. Clear and informative! Mine (Sportline iV) will arrive end of March '25. Looking forward to it😊

Thanks. The DC charging is useful. This looks a good option for anyone not confident about going full EV. Full EV makes more sense in my view.

Thank you for this excellent review. I really appreciate the tip of having the regenerative braking at high as I had just left mine on auto. With high it almost gives you the B setting I had in my previous Enyaq. In Ireland the 2nd level up is called Selection + but does not come with the 13 inch screen and just the 10 inch and no navigation. This is an optional extra for €1,471. Because you have no navigation you do not have Predictive ACC. You can purchase Navigation in Shop for €390 and the car comes with a months free trial which is mean and should be standard for the price of the car. I miss that from the Enyaq I had but I do not miss the ride in the Enyaq and this Kodiaq has excellent suspension. The car has been back to the garage for a software update which addresses an issue where all assist systems suddenly stop working. This is a known issue with the Kodiaq and I believe can happen in the diesel model too. A fix for this was to remove and then just put back fuses 21 & 22 found behind the passenger glove box. That worked for me but now that I have had the softwear update it should not happen again. Overall I love the car.

Pleasure, glad you found it useful and indeed it's similar to B mode in the VW-made EVs. Thanks for sharing your experiences, pleased that you're enjoying it!

Great review. I ordered a Kodiaq iV SEL with everything except paroramic glassroof and HUD two weeks ago. Waiting for estimated productiondate atm. I do around 150-160 miles/day, otherwise i would go for an Enyaq. But the winter here in Sweden sorted out the Enyaq unfortunately.

In 0C temps in city trafic I do max 60 km Cabin heating use a lot of battery unfortunately In summer out of city drive it will be 100 km with no problem

I ordered mine around 6 weeks ago, hopefully arriving in June 25. I opted for the version with no leather. Too cold during wintertime and too hot during summertime.

Happy days. You'll hit 999 MPG with the PHEV model if you're just in town and not doing many miles :)

I’ve got a new Enyaq Sportline 85x. I looked at the Kodiak, but thought the electric would suit me more. I love my Enyaq. It’s fast and comfortable. Unless you do large miles, a home charge is good enough and vastly cheaper. Try one.
@TotallyEV2 ай бұрын
Glad you're enjoying it! Indeed, reviewed the Enyaq a few years ago - still one of my benchmark EVs in the (large) SUV class!

@TotallyEV10 күн бұрын
@G3RTH indeed, but there's not much more I can do; Ford isn't very forthcoming with loans. Tbh, there are lots of interesting cars planned for the next few months, which are of greater interest than the old Kuga, so stay tuned!

Great review cov3rs all my questions since i have gone from a diesel tarraco 190 to an ID5 and i am considering reverting back to a diesel or after this review a hybrid what do you recommend
@TotallyEV2 ай бұрын
Thank you, glad it was helpful! As for your question, depends on your journeys and if you have the ability to plug in at home?
@paulscott17592 ай бұрын
@TotallyEV yes got a 7.4kw charger at home
@TotallyEV2 ай бұрын
And what are your average journeys like each day? If it's under 100 miles, then the PHEV would make the most logical sense - as you can effectively drive with very little fuel consumption and charge overnight.

Go for Cupra Terramar, better power output same price

I have more than a 2k km on it now and overall it is nice car. I have a phev version and it is handling super good. The actual electric range, with suggested 80% charging is up to 70km in winter. Things that I hate is the random vibrations and rattles in the doors/dashboard, and Skoda connect app. It is aboslutely unreliable, slow to update and never showing the actual lock and other status of the car. There are some other weird sw related things that I hate, but I can live with that.
@TotallyEVАй бұрын
Thanks for sharing! Although, never experienced any rattle in the press vehicle.
@tveidasАй бұрын
with more than 3k in phev sportline trim, actual range with heating in winter 100% charge 66 km, but it drops way faster, sqeaky folding mirrors and door trim rattles on mine too, with canton sound system it sounds terrible, like cheap old car…
@pankajnaik2708Ай бұрын
How much is fuel consumption on highway when battery is 0% ? and within City (0% battery)?
@tveidasАй бұрын
@@pankajnaik2708 6-6,5l 100km/h speed on highway, hard yet to tell about city
@intruderyАй бұрын
@@pankajnaik2708 In hybrid while you have charge (using 12kwh/100km), some 3.5 - 4 liters per 100 km, with 0 charge I am seeing 8 liters. The usable capacity is around 20 kwh when fully charged, but usually you would charge it to 80% to save battery from degradation. Overall Kodiaq has one of the largest batteries for PHEV.

Only downsides are the hyper sensitive sensors and faulty speed sign recognition. Besides this, very comfortable and spacious. Top value for money.
@TotallyEV2 ай бұрын
Speed sign is a little hit and miss on most vehicles, but it's a good point - it did seem a bit more off than it should be! Which other sensors are you referring to?
@Chriesje112 ай бұрын
@TotallyEV front sensor for collision protection gets crazy whenever you start driving in bad weather conditions. Oh, and the blind spot sensor is sensing another driver way way after you overtook someone resultating in unwanted steering corrections which can be pretty dangerous.
@TotallyEV2 ай бұрын
@Chriesje11 interesting! Didn't seem to have any issues with the front collision sensor (drove in heavy rain and wind).
@aldra744Ай бұрын
True sensors are not normal both parking and collision protection, they activates then there is no any need And many error messages for different assistant deactivation, they need to do something with software

I'm really trying to justify if this is worth 8000-10000 EUR more than a fully loaded Kia Sportage GT Line 1.6 AWD hybrid.

If the battery is empty. Would you still be able to drive on petrol? Or does it require to have some juice in the battery? I am considering this car as well :)
@TotallyEVАй бұрын
Yes of course, you can drive on petrol only as pointed out in the review!
@WilliamLaverick-wo1nbАй бұрын
If you’re charging at home fine. If you’re driving any distance and have to find public charging it’s best to have the diesel with the larger tank.
