I actually use this a lot in pvp. Its very good, but it does need a rework it seems like the blight does nothing in pvp or pve. I once 1 shooted someone with the blight at point black range, but im not sure if a result of a teamshot or not. When i first saw this weapon i could have sworn i have seen a video where the exotic perk was kinda the same but more useful. Touch of malice should instead get a couple blighted bullets into the mag after 10 precision hits that travel at bullet range. On hit causes blind (less than a second duration longer in pve, and decay.

I can repect your opinion, but you just gotta really build into it tbh. Ive been playing around with some builds and my go to atm is sanguine alchemy on well. Extend them rifts and keep that healing going, alongside having healing nades. And the fact that rn its anti barrier scout and that this can currently deal with 2 champs is pretty nuts. And it has some really good dps as well

I’ll retry a build with it soon! I’ll def say though, back when this video was made, there were probably not that many options to making it actually viable. Now there’s a ton of ways to build into it

Touch is my most used weapon in pve and pvp its not even close to the worst and the health loss isn't really hard to play around even without a loadout built around it. i usually just throw it on whatever subclass im currently running, and yes healing from devour, rift etc is nice but not needed anymore since its buffs there are much much worse exotics

Last bullet in PvP? I guess it doesn’t matter in quick play, but like comp and trials? Seems like a pretty bad trade off. And like I said I can low end PvE, but GMs…I just can’t see it working to well/doing anything another exotic couldn’t do. What are worse exotics? And it felt like Devour was needed in Blind Well, I imagine it’d be even more necessary in higher end PvE

@@JCapriGaming its a 4 tap in pvp, as long as you play back and have high recovery its good. though if your team are running in while you're sitting back then its not so good- definitely better if you have coordination devour is only needed in bw because of the constant damage you're taking from the miasma. you could manage without it but you'd be living life on the edge. it just happens to be one of its weaker points. chaperone, cerberus, centrifuse, trespasser, prometheus, devils ruin, fighting lion, skyburners, lorentz driver, heartshadow, black talon, deterministic chaos, warlock glaive, wordline zero, suros, lord of wolves, no time, borealis are all worse than just using a legendary instead. this isnt even talking about all the other exotics that suck in GMs. touch has one of the highest primary damages, can boost it further with the blight which also blinds and stuns unstops, it has infinite ammo and healing. honestly if they were gonna change it they should just make the heal based on precision hits or just a burst heal rather than regen because shooting again stops the regen for some reason.

I mean used it in pvp with Lorely's. It's actually pretty fun on that build. But I mainly solo trials and comp, so getting consistent comms + coordination goes out the window lol. I love that you enjoy it though! Always good to find something you enjoy/ have fun with, even if it goes against the norm

If you’re with other people using it go ahead. But I don’t like wasting my exotic slot for a primary in higher end PvE content. Especially when there are exotics in the special/heavy slot that absolutely do more damage (total or dps wise).

@@AbsolutelyZer0 we got a 10 minute moon battleground with a double malice and shade, you should try the build- it really isn’t that bad. I think the exotic overall isn’t the best, but this class/item specific use it is.

I know it seems bad, and your opinion is valid, but PLEASE make a build with banner of war with it. It pretty much makes it a primary lmg while also making you immortal 😂.

This exotic is... one of the better ones? 120% increased damage, blinding (anti-unstop), and a 50% damage debuff on targets? To be fair, this tends to be better on warlocks, as they can drop a healing rift and then slay out. It's harder on other classes, but I feel as though the nightstalker setup could be better with orpheus rigs, providing many more tethers that will get refunded by the high-damage primary.

Orpheus Rigs sounds interesting, but in more difficult content you need to prioritize survivability (even more so using Touch of Malice). That’s why I chose the Gyrfalcon. I honestly had a better time on nightstalker using this build than any of the warlock builds. (Trust me, this vid was originally supposed to be a build vid on Warlock). When I use ToM, I want to use that last round, if not for that, I’d better off be using Polaris Lance (atleast this season). If you can’t take advantage of the last round, it’s a tier above regular 260s but way below any other useful exotic primaries imo.

@JCapriGaming I've used this on Stag Warlock in gms flawlessly. Idk maybe it's just a vibe thing? I love this gun and seem to do well in pve and pvp with it. It's okay if it doesn't work with your playstyle!

I remember getting it my first run of king’s fall, and my team getting pissed because they never did. I deleted it immediately after 5 minutes of use which made them more upset. It is spicy booty cheeks

Cool concept and a great returning throwback. But it’s definitely a terrible exotic that can only truly work in these around a patrol difficulty. As soon as that difficulty goes up a notch, this gun is your worst enemy.

@@GoyaPaco You can just use agers scepter or any other exotic than salvations grip and it'll perform much better. Hell you can even use touch of malice in a stasis warlock build and it'll do better than salvations grip.

@@jackkunasaki5044 in sticky situations it shines it helps you get revives and gives you cover. I don’t use the bowling concept I mainly use it for control/cover and it’s amazing trust me 😂 GM battleground on the moon it’s amazing I put so many ppl onto it

ToM on stasis? You trolling? SG has more utility for sure than Tom. Plus if you’re arguing that ToM is in the same tier as SG then it is easily one of the worst exotic primaries in the game
