Touch Screen Aftermarket Head Unit Install! (Mazdaspeed 3)

hey guys, got my new Eonon headunit for the speed in and decided to tackle the install. Went well and everything works great. THis product works for Mazda 3's and Mazdaspeed's!

One of try the best mods to do. First thing I did when I bought my car. Fyi... For a cleaner look, I put the GPS and WiFi receivers on top of the vent ducts/channels and then fitted the vent assembly back in place so everything was out of sight.

I had an older model from them. It had too many problems, so I sold it. Hopefully they improved them.

Hey bud, I have big hands aswell and a gen 1. Tip I use for running wires in the dash that you may already know about, or maybe not is use an old wire hanger. Tape all your wires to one end and just navigate the hanger through the one time. Just be careful not to get hooked up on anything in the process and you should be good to go.

Hey! Noticed you put the GPS antenna inside the cluster. They work on line of sight, so you’ll get a much better signal if the antenna is exposed to the sky. Great video, thanks man !

How is this headunit for android auto ,CarPlay , backup camera? Where did you mount that? Do you have a review video?

I don't think it has android auto. You can download headunit reloaded though (costs $5). I don't have this headunit but I know people use this as a workaround when it doesn't come pre-installed

@@josephkellehhan2353 they had me hook it up differently. Unfortunately at that point only half the speakers worked and it sounded awful. I ended up returning the unit minus a $50 restocking fee and shipping costs, after 2wks of arguing with Eonon.

I FIGURED IT OUT! - in case somebody else is having the same issue - go to “ setting > car infotainement > about device > settings > enter password > others > camera detect > not detect > save
