For rear seriousry. I don't even know what this episode is emphasizing. Idk even know how a normal TRD 86 is rated higher than an ultra light and fast Lotus Exige.

The only reason I could see is the lotus's low rpm range which slows down time with the constant shifting. That and it looked like the lotus bounced a little when they drove it.

The Lotus was too rear biased and unstable for a touge. If it was wet on these roads that car would have been gone
That's pretty cool seeing the Cayman S and the Exige S side by side. Shows you both ends of the scale how a car will struggle on the touge if it's too soft or too stiff. Here's hoping that part 3 is uploaded soon :)

When they say "Normal" it means "Stock" in case if you English speakers are wondering.
The Porsche Cayman's ridiculously large 20 inch rims and ridiculously thin sidewalls aren't helping when it comes to actual handling performance. Note the rims seem less than 1 inch away from scraping the ground. A set of forged or flow-formed 18 inch wheels and suitable tyres would have performed much better, it's so blindingly obvious that the wheel diameter was too large for the brakes anyway.

Also bear in mind this guys seem to have quite less experience from mid-eng cars, and as said lotus is the funniest sensation and fun-wise. Written from my k20s2 elige ;)

@@morenorc5015 These 'guys' have all raced in SuperGT and stuff like LeMans so I'm pretty sure they've got plenty of experience of driving mid engined cars. The exige has always been very track focused so it kinda makes sense that it wouldn't be that fun on a bumpy twisty road.

They say 86 was the most suitable car in the forest though the time was kind of the slowest. It was fun for them stepping on the accelerator longer. And in the conclusion, they state no car is competing with Nissan GT-R, keep searching for it.
