What a performance!!! Just finished watching the whole race~ I figured he'd win unless he crashed or got sick (luckily, he did neither!), but by over 3 minutes??!!! Crazy!! Congrats to Remco and Giulio for their podium finishes~ well done!!! I couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if either Primoz or Jonas had raced~ prob Tadej still would have won but it would have been a much different race. I'm looking forward to seeing them all next season~ hopefully with all of them healthy and in top form!! Enjoy your "vacation"!!! ❤

But there is a lot more competition from all over the world today. back in Merckx's day it was a few countries and that was it. I think you transplant Pog to Merckx's time and Pog wins some races... but I don't think Merckx does nearly was well in today's races.

Massive-my ass. Pog played it super smart-UAE provided the lead out, Sivakov crushed the gap to the front and all Pog had to do is put some time into the second best-in that case Remco, who is not exactly a climbing star at this point in his career. Pog was never truly challenged.

A few years ago pogacar was good but not great descender. At tour on left turn he crashed, vingegaard on same turn fine. Waited. Now p is superb descender. Excellence
