@@wrenchfries9892 Larceny regular is good, barrel proof if you can find it. Makers 46 is good, one of my favorites. They make it in a cask strength sometimes, I haven’t had it yet but I would buy it if I see it. Makers 101 is just stronger version of reg Makers, it’s good. They also have cask strength which I would get over the 101. OF1920 is real good, Woodford double oaked as well. A lot out there I would take over BT, Weller. They are ok, not horrible, just better out the IMO

Also would recommend Russell’s Reserve 10yr. I’m not a WT fanboy either. Not a lot on the nose but a lot going on in the sip

@@justadudeintheworldman.120 oh, I thought you were only talking about wheated bourbons since referencing weller. Sure the demand is higher for weller since production lags the other names but hard to say pound for pound larceny or makers could run with special reserve or antique at similar age. Obviously rebel yell is out there too, also good. All those others aren’t wheat, and the makers tastiest offerings are stave barrels which again is kind of a unique category. I think the fan boy thought you’re referencing is to the joy of hanging around buffalo trace. You gotta admit that sure makers has lovely grounds and old buildings, but walking around that beautiful historic Frankfort property is a unparalleled thing. Those old style rails, the old functional rickhouses, it’s a pleasure historically and they make tough to match bourbon. I agree you get into their traditional bourbons there’s room for comparison and likes and dislikes, but the facility and their wheated line are spectacular.
