Touring Scotland in a Rustic Camper Van - The Isle Of Skye - Part 2

I started off subscribing to loads of channels about van life and especially bus conversions (because that is what I want to do in the end), but after some time unsubscribed from almost all of them. They were interesting in the beginning, as long as they covered the conversion of the bus or van, but tended to become rather boring later, when it came to travelling and everyday van/bus life. You are one of the few channels I still subscribe to. Your videography is out of this world! It is interesting, beautiful, diversified with gorgeous shots of the landscape, a bit of insight in what you think and enjoy, a bit of van life, just the right combination. There are very few who match your professionalism and as I've said before, you are such a lovely couple that it is great fun to stalk you on your adventures. Keep up the good work! 👍🏼😉

Unfortunately I don't have a job that I can do from a mobile home and I live on an island, so even a van doesn't make much sense for me (nowhere to go). But I'm determined to make it reality in the future. Until then I'll have to follow you around on your adventures. 😬

Best chippy on Skye, if not in Scotland? Once over the road bridge from the mainland, on the bridge, turn right. Follow the coastline for about 5 miles until it starts to look a little touristy, right on the coast. And then there it is. Freshly made, same guy serving as when I went before about 20 years ago, fantastic! Little gift shop next door, got to be done.

So much inspiration, years ago I spent a couple of days working in Ullapool, what a fabulous place, I had the nicest T bone in a pub on the front (with real bread and butter) and watched the seals playing in harbour, I'm itching to get up there for a holiday, I need to get a van first then I can feel a road trip coming, cheers!

Really fantastic vids guys. We are doing a month long trip in 3 weeks through Scotland again. I would highly recommend visiting Smoo cave if you haven't past it yet and going through Tongue. Have a lovely trip, don't ever be deterred by no overnight signs. Dunnet head is also seriously gorgeous. Happy travels guys. See you on the road

The North West of Scotland is amazing and special but sadly it has become so busy. Cars were turned back from Skye unless the journey was essential last summer. What isn’t so well known is the North East Scotland area which has different landscapes but equally tranquil and the history is amazing . Certainly worth a visit.

A place you need to try in Scotland is Glen Affric in the Inverness area. Go through the village of Cannich and turn right at the junction.

We find Skye to busy, much better to go out of season. We were at Toscaig at Easter so looking forward to your journey over the pass. Our first part went out Friday and part 2 next Friday. :-)

You should try the Outer Isles, Uist's, Harris & Lewis at some time if you like remote and rugged. Harris, in particular, is spectacular with "Tropical?" white sand beaches and rugged mountains.

Yes I definitely think more islands are in order. It’s just the cost of the ferries, Skye has the bridge and we didn’t have much money.
