I remember being on a tourist boat when I was a kid, in a thunderstorm. The waves were going up over the front of the boat and I was just standing there at the bow, getting soaked, having the time of my life, watching lightning crack down onto the water. I never questioned why the boat was operating in a storm. A couple years later that same boat took a bunch of tourists out during a storm and it sank in the waves. Two kids died.
