I cannot agree more on this. Sales would go crazy if they make it a tad expensive but with more stuff that define it as a house and not a camping unit. Filtering the used water - a bigger power cells, so a sentence such as "a its windy, we will be able to cook tonight" doesn't have to be part of the promo. Kirsten this is interesting as usual for the channel but I was expecting some more questioning from you when it comes to the "eco" labeled design: - how the filtering works? - what is the expected generated energy and to what amount of autonomy it corresponds? - how are the materials used ecological? Furthermore, I have doubts about the advantages of the shape it self: - flat surfaces are probably more industrially scalable and substitutable if damaged, unless there is a big advantage in saving material and assembling with a curved shape; - having solar panels facing opposite sides is a huge waste of potential energy harvest, maybe cut to half; - storing space is reduced. I don't agree with the stated cozy feel of the shape: we are not born inside an egg, we are far more used to a box shape or triangular ceiling, so this is highly subjective. However, I see some advantages: - it is less disturbed by air flow, which it is better if you plan to use it as a trailer and also might feel more comfortable if it is windy outside; - less joints make it more stable when transporting and less prone to cracks, also if it falls over to one side. Even with that shape, I know how to save more space in the kitchen and bathroom than the present design. This might be useful for some property owners that want to complement their business with some tourists staying for a while, because the shape makes it a different experience. Other than that, an RV/caravan/trailer would be more cost efficient.

Some interesting design elementsincluded. I like the bathroom design a lot, and the wind turbine is a unique idea. I don’t think the shape is very efficient from a space use aspect - a flat roof slanted to one side could also collect rainwater, house solar panels and allow for a more usefu and easy to engineer box-type space underneath Also of concern is the heaviness and operation of the door - would be annoying to go in and out of often, and the bugs would easily get in if left open, as there doesn’t seem to be any screen. Where does food get stored? There does not seem to be any refrigeration until.

I hope some day smart awesome design becomes affordable and practical to the average working class. This product is purely for the tourism market A. K. A short term vacay airbnb rental. But even then, for 100k, I can renovate and rent 10 caravans which would provide a much healthier ROI. Nevertheless, Kudos to the Slovaks for getting ideas of their drawing board!

I love the design and concept. The one thing that bothers me tho is there isn’t a pullout surface to chop/prep food. That would irritate me haha

I guess you'd have to compromise on that. You would probably have to do that on the working table.

Have they designed one accessible for persons with mobility problems?

I think with most people, storage space would run out very quickly with this. The kitchen alone is not as good as the kitchen in a small van build. I think if you were a single person picking crops, using it as a hotel room, or that sort of thing it would be okay. Temporary only for most people. Hopefully. As far as I know, the US is already using shipping containers in places like the arctic circle. They look more spacious than this. It was nice to hear Russian accents, I enjoyed it for some reason.

Wind resistant? 70 to 140 MPh? Blast protection like a Faraday cage? Im thinking about it when a saw cabin on top of the tall building

Maybe if it were another meter or two in length, it could have a refrigerator and still fit in a shipping container. I love the idea but the missing cold food storage is a deal breaker for me. Or, for half the money, buy the shipping container and convert that into a small home with solar, wind, and rain cachement.

beauty over functionality, is a fail. there must be balance

It seems very functional, and beautiful => balanced.

pepperpepperpepper nope, it doesn’t balance, too much pretty not very useful. I could do much better

It needs to be Car+Ecocapsule The Front part needs to be a Convertible Car and the whole thing on Wheels The fact you have to rely on another machine to move it around makes it little bit behind the times If it can be hauled by a Motorcycle, it would equally be more usable Nevertheless, it is a very useful structure in nature I congratulate you on this Excellent product.

what is the water management system ? in the presentation it is said that they have a White/Grey/Black water storage but no mention what you need to do then the Black/Grey water tanks get full ?! is the water filtered and black turns to white or you just dump it ?
