Thank heavens the customer was listening to the car and not the radio! When our girls were growing up, they didn't believe me when I told them a vehicle will talk to you. After they were out on their own, the realized dad was right, again. Listening has saved them thousands of dollars through the years.
@danielclark5170Ай бұрын
I would go back to the mechanic who replaced the radiator and let them know if the transmission fails, they would be held responsible and possibly contact an attorney.

Every engine will talk to you. Even the central heating system.
@glennfields81212 ай бұрын
The customer is very fortunate to have pulled right over and didn't cause more severe damage. The poor quality of whoever replaced the radiator and not securing that hose properly could have caused a catastrophic failureof the transmission.

One of the first things I replace are those awful "factory speed clamps"; can't tell you how many times we've seen those things "lose their grip".

Hey Kenny! At 2:19 The timing of that impact wrench, the sound of it, and the metal thing hitting the floor, for some reason was like a kind of Mechanics comedic Rimshot! I guess that's what happens when you stay up until 6am... Your brain interprets things in Unusual ways!🙃 Time for sleep!😁 Mike in San Diego.🌞🎸🚀🖖

I wish I were just a little closer to you (about 3 hours away). I am about to hit the 100k mile mark on my Saturn Sky with the “lifetime” sealed transmission fluid. I know the procedure to change the fluid and filter, but I’d much rather leave this one to a pro. 😊

Most mechanic in repair facility does not care about work and I have seen and experience so many instants that really scare me. We had already experienced the hi-tech vehicle that not many mechanics have enough experience of repair and maintain plus parts that came from cheap labor country that does not meet the quality standards and finally labor forces that not detail oriented but charged customers at abnormally highest fee in the world.

The clip on the transmission cooling line is interesting. My old boss used to say "You may not think it's necessary but the car company put it on for a reason. If it didn't need it they would have saved the money and left it out."

Kenny I have a Toyota Tundra 07 and have always changed the granny filter and fluid every 35000 miles just what comes out of the pan. I have seen so many videos that say you need notching the filter. Would you possibly make a video on what should be done or not done. I really would appreciate you considering this topic.

That was some nasty looking fluid. They got lucky so far Freightliner M2 with a Allison had issues with the retaining clip on the right fitting wearing through and allowing the line to pop off. That line could move and with the vibrations of a diesel it was a common failure. Most times they got lucky Once in awhile they didn't
