Correct. And he almost always tells people they can absolutely sell it for more on their own. People always assume retail stores are “ripping people off”. No. No one HAS to sell anything. They know the hassle and risk, and CHOOSE to sell because not dealing with that has value. No one had a gun to their head, and Ryan is the fairest person I’ve seen in this industry. Always upfront and never emotional about it. Super guy, and he’s “ripped off” NO ONE.

@MikeRay19786 ай бұрын
@@mikec1554 I mean yeah they kind of are. Back then a one ton truck couldn’t handle near the weight, couldn’t pull as well and didn’t often go hundreds of thousands of miles. And they weren’t luxurious inside. But I still don’t think the price is relative. You can still get a lot of truck without spending 80 grand. I use duallys for business and I buy Ram 3500’s with the Cummins and Aisen transmission. Tradesmen trim package. Around $60,000. Is it a lot? Hell yes. Whatnot Con is the best way I've ever heard Whatnot described. There are multiple states in the process of making it illegal to use Whatnot - the reason being is that it is considered a live auction and the people selling on Whatnot are not licensed auctioneers. Most states require that if you are auctioning off items you must be a licensed and registered with the state.

Some people are really unrealistic and/or really naive about selling things at a store. It does not compute in their heads that the shop needs to buy it off them, store it, then look to sell it on all whilst having overheads. You can't just walk into a shop and get the amount you'd get on Ebay or from a private sale, it doesn't work that way, you don't get to have all the money without any of the work. All you can ask for is that the people at the store are up front which these guys seem to be from what I've seen so far

Going to a Toy Collectors Convention in Covington, Louisiana next weekend April 20th & 21st. 2024. Sgt. Slaughter is one of the guest appearances. I haven't been to one in around 17 years. I lost my original collection when Hurricane Katrina hit and got screwed by the insurance company and i just got really discouraged. I starteded collecting again but it has changed. I don't have the money anymore to spend on vintage toys, so i started collecting wrestling action figures, MacFarlane figures which includes Mortal Kombat, DC Multiverse, and the SPAWN collection of course. To me MacFarlane SPAWN collection is by far one of the best line of horror toys out there. Lets see what else, NECA horror figures and any other cool horro figures i like. I had a huge mask collection as well but i have purchased some back. Now i do 3D printing and i mainly do 3D printed Cosplay armor. Ironically, my specialty is Star Wars. I have the files for just about any armored character from any Star Wars movie. I'm currently finishing up Din Djarin from The Mandalorian for myself. Before the final paint job, i will be making silicone molds of all the pieces that way if someone wants armor, i can get it to them quickly. My goal is to make molds of all the armor i do so i dont have to keep reprinting them. So, if you guys ever interested in getting some Star Wars cosplay done or maybe a life size statue for the shop. Which would technically be a costume on a mannequin, hit me up. Definitely willing to do it for some kind of trade. Saw a few things i would love to have for my collection. Anyway, if any of you would be interested, just respond and i will contact you and go from there. Also i'm going on 50 years old and one happily married man. My wife is my life. Just wanted to let you know i wasn't a kid being silly or anything. Just rying to get my work out and about. I also sew the suits that are worn under the armor and EVA foam cosplay as well, though i prefer printing it and strengthening up the plastic with bindo and resin coating as well.

That and in June me and the wife are coming visit family in South Carolina. My nephew says he don't live far from y'all at all. I do plan on definitely coming in and spending some money for sure. It doesn't have to be in the box I actually have the box with all the paperwork but if that's the way it comes, well then I will have an extra. I'm looking for a original Megatron Transformer, the pistol one. There is only three that I ever saved and that was Megatron, Optimus, and Sound wave. Those where my favorites. I made sure I saved the boxes and all the accessories (lost Optimus's hands) cause I knew they would eventually be worth money. Of course I lost all that. Was able since to find and buy a in box all pieces including paperwork Optimus and Sound wave. Came across many Megatron's, just at the wrong times. So, now I have made sure to have put money aside specifically for that toy. I don't like buying stuff like this over the Internet so I much prefer seeing it in person. Got scammed a couple times so I just don't buy things like that over the Internet anymore. Now, yes I did get my money back from each one. I'm the type of person that will show up at your doorstep to make things right one way or the other. The two times I did, I made sure to contact the local Sheriff Department. They would send some one out, I would show them the proof I had. They police followed me there and explained to the person they had two options, either give me back my money or go to jail for theft. Both times it was a just turned 18 year old trying to be tuff over the Internet and scam people. They learned that some of us will come to your house.
