You didnt do unstable affliction justice. It is NOT just that you dont have to press the corruption button again, it is that you can snapshot your corruption, meaning if you cast corruption when you have the absolute most SP (at the beginning of the boss fight with all your consumes etc...) as long as it is refreshed, it will pretend like it has that much spell power forever.

Get a pet you don't have to feed, can summon, soulstone healer during dungeons/raids, and melt faces. Plus, the class quest mount looks better than the paladin one. 😁

Wotlk was best warlock time in WoW. I remember there was 4 basic pve raiding biulds with lot little variations and ton of lvling/solo dungeon(felguard boost) builds also 2 powerfull pvp builds. Also 3demo tanks ToGC was incredible fun too. I can risk to say there was 10 uber usable differend wrlock builds depend of situation.

you actually do use siphon life in tbc for top parsing. The tick damage is low but the fact that it lasts for so long makes casting it more dps than shadowbolt

I mained a warlock from classic vanilla all the way through wrath as well and I always out DPS'd Afflic and Destro locks, it's just a little harder to master the button rotation.

You must have had very bad warlocks in your guild. Demonology wasn't top on any sims until Deathwing from wrath, and it was not really sustainable, only more bursty. In long fights affliction always prevailed. Because drain soul on the last 25% was so insane they always topped dps on boss fights. Especially in wrath when they add haste to dots, if you were an engineer with the increase haste gloves, the corruption ticks for the same haste it's applied the first time, so if you keep corruption up 100% of fight with all the haste buffs and blood lust, affliction is unstoppable. Now that I read your comment again I think you might be talking about vanilla, in that case I agree. Sacrifice and shadowboltspam is easier rotation and more dps. My bad if thats the case!

@@Moldylocks I started in vanilla yes and mained a warlock through TBC, but even in TBC I kept up with afflic and destro locks pretty well, although I did fall behind a bit after being fully geared I will admit, it seems like affliction scales better with raid gear than demo does so I'll give you that. And I'm mainly comparing myself to randoms I never got into a really good raiding guild till Wrath. After wrath tho demonology definitely did fall behind a bit.

It will be much more. SB is just a filler between keeping up corruption and your curse, Haunt should be used on CD and such. It'll be much more interesting than the TBC rotation.

Everyone thinks fury and unholy dk will dominate the dps chart at lich king heroic - but actually affliction warlocks can beat them, you have to play really reckless, reserve the haste buff from your disc and multi dot everything that you'll see and you're good to go! I played for the last 10 years on a private server and I have seen this affli lock doing this, then I fell in love with warlock :) Of course this guy did sometimes simply die from over aggroing his foes, but you have to play really aggressive to be the pos. 1

@@manolisathanasios yes u can a tailor can make it for u .... jc is the better choice because it will give u 3 dragon eye gems with alot of stat and taloring give enchant on the back that will be on a proc with 1:30 sec cd so jc is overall better and engi u will get rocket boots for pvp/pve 300 haste enchant on hands on use with 1 min cd for pve and rocket enchant on hands for pvp and u can make grenades for pvp and pve

Is sad the state of Destruction lock all the way from Naxx to ICC, every other dps can do the same than you but better, with more dps, tools and raid utility. Fire and arcane mages, Afllic and demon locks, MM hunter, elemental shaman, everyone do everything better. Even full geared with enchant, glyphs and perfect gems, the best you can aspire to is to reach mid recount, considering you cant do other thing for your raid more than that.

lol warlocks are so good in tbc. They are the premier class to stack for speed runs, they are literally top 1-3 class on Warcraft logs depending on percentile. Even 99th percentile they are top 3
