+David Eddy Any Time! I love to review gear that I use on a regular basis ... I'm thinking of trying the AT's next go around.

I got 37s toyo mt. they are amazing and i have also done the Dempster, i drove up from Calgary and they are still going strong. not the greatest on ice but hey its a mud terrain.

+Macleod Capewell The dempster is awesome! I'm stoked you did the run it is so beautiful up there! I hydro planed hard core just outside of whitehorse with the Toyo MT's so I think I'm gonna try the new AT's. They look way more aggressive this year after the redesign.

what size lift are you running with the 37x13.50??

Nice video. I have the same tires on my GMC 2500hd and it's been just about 5 years and they're still going strong!

+dropcorr Yeha I love them they have been amazing ... I'm thinking of moving to the AT's for the next set as I am spending a lot of time on the road on the way to trails lol

Why is the spare new? Do a 5 tire rotation for even longer life.

Great vidio, I have the Toyo Open Country Extreme. It's been awesome, not that good in snow even at 10lb of air. The MT would do a lot better. However I do get great gas mileage with this tire.

I've got the Goodyear Dura-Trac's, and have had the same experiences. Going on 3.5 years now! Like how much road noise!? :)

I like the Dura-Trac's ... I'm testing the Toyo AT2 Extreme right now so look for a review on that one in the next couple weeks :)

Do you think you could have done the trip is on 33s? It is one I'd like to do someday especially since the highway up to tuktoyaktuk will be opening next year
@alsmith8 жыл бұрын
Absolutly!! 33's are just fine. I am testing their AT2 Extremes and will be shooting a video on them soon. BUT if you want a true 33" tire you will need to buy a biger tire size.. example the 35"MT's I was running are actually 34.5" in diameter and the 35" AT2 Extreme's I'm testing are actually only 33"

I’m looking at these, Nitto trails or the Cooper stt pros. I do a fair bit of on road driving from 40mph to 80mph so really want as quiet a mud tire as possible... What is your opinion with on-road noise? i just wonder about the comparison to other mud tires or aggressive ATs out there? Could they be equivalent to an AT tire with sound? Any thoughts would be really appreciated to help me. Is there any other tire as/ nearly as aggressive but as quiet or quieter? Thanks.

GBC18 I have Toyota open country MT on a 96 F150 I’m turning into a show truck that still gets driven on days it is not snowing or raining I’m just about to put it on my daily there not a super loud tire kind of just a nice humm I like the sound but some people don’t I would say if u have a newer vehicle with all of the sound dampening stuff u probably wouldn’t hear it hardly at all and if you did just turn the radio on and had very much takes care of it but they Now have a tire called Toyo open country RT it’s basically the MTs outer lugs and the at’s inner lugs I’m guessing you’re going to be pretty quiet tires that still goes really good I’m hearing there a great tire for someone who does lots of on road which can be bad gravel or snowy and then some off-road to I hope this helps

What's the gearing on your jeep? And the wheels are what size? Are you getting good avg L/100km ? Thanks for nice review, I have a 2017 jk 2door 3.73 manual trans and I'm thinking of toyo mt 35 12.5 to replace my 33 12.5 mt that I have now.

I am running 4:10 gears on auto and I get about 18 liters per 100km.

I’ve run 33” and 35” of those tires and the gas mileage isn’t that different. The 33” are a bit better but not tones.
@2pk086 жыл бұрын
+alsmith not bad for a auto 4 door! Thanks for replying, do you think the regearing would be années for me considering I have 3.73, these tires in 35 12.5 are really heavy!

+Adam Austin Right now they are on their second jeep and I figure about 120,000 KM!!!

+alsmith that's 75,000 miles!! I have 35's on mine now. I pray to get 50,000 out of mine. thanks buddy!!

+Adam Austin Any time! I'm going to have to replace them this spring and I think I'm gonna try out the new Toyo AT's instead of the MT's. They look pretty good and would be better on the road.

+Adam Austin Im getting over 50,000 miles on mine that are on a dodge fullsize diesel. Now Im running at around 40 - 45 psi which gives me the best wear
@adamaustin33739 жыл бұрын
+AngryOldBastard I drive a 4 door jeep wrangler with 35's. Are yours 35's also? and if so I wonder if I should run that much psi in mine...with it being lighter than your truck..?
