The Toyota CEO wants to do cool shit but it’s hard to push that really, The 86 was Subaru and Supra was a BMW. The Corolla GR and Yaris GR was all Toyota though, MR2 may be a hybrid? I’m seeing that trend, hybrid powertrains allowing for better torque.

I really wish they would leave it alone. Toyota is not the same Toyota of the 80s and 90s. I loved my mr2 and hated to sell it.

The new mr2 should have a cyber punk look just like the Ferrari looking one. The slick looking one looks like a Lamborghini. This model should be called something else like "comet"
