Toyota Solid Axle 529 Gear Upgrade

In this episode of the Toyota Pickup Build we work on getting the rear axle finished up. I finish welded the new shock brackets, added tabs for the brake line, and installed the new third member with 5.29 gears and a e-locker diff. Next up we will be working on the front axle/suspension stuff.

I typically weld the bolt to the axle, makes like a little stud to put the p-clamp on. Maybe I'm too lazy to find shorter bolts.

I've done it that way before but switched to doing it this way so if I ever remove the clamps there isn't a stud sticking out that I can drill my head on lol 🤣🤣
