1:28. Semi driver looks pretty distraught. He probably had to look at that right after it happened. I think he needs a couple days off sitting in a dark room just to come to grips with what he witnessed. Hope he knows it wasn't his fault.

After being released he'll have to go do drug and alcohol tests, logbook for that day and the previous 6 months will be looked at and if it's off by one minute they will try to charge him with something. Several years ago a driver was trying to make it to where he could park and on the way had a reck with an idiot who passed him while driving with the cruise Control on and her legs in a lotus position. She lost control due to a tire blow. End result he was charged and got to be a ward of The People's Republic of California for 5 years.

License plate frame: Toxic Masculinity... When I was a tow driver, one of my co-workers was loading a car once on the freeway, when your pickin up vehicles on the freeway your told to only strap down the side that is away from traffic then get in your truck and get off the freeway to do the rest. My co-worker did that & he and a trainee with him got back into the truck then suddenly heard & felt a loud jolt from the rear of the flatbed. A woman in a small SUV had hit the back of the towtruck so hard that she was decapitated... Typical day on Southern California deathways.. I drive and was rear ended a few years back. I was doing 70 the mini van that hit me was doing 80 and I definitely felt it. The way it was explained was that the difference in speed made the impact less impactful than if I had been going slower. This particular crash, for the pickup to get that far underneath the trailer, the semi had to be going slow or stopped and I’m not sure how you don’t feel something that violent especially when you figure pickups have a higher center of gravity than a regular car.

Since the truck driver had to be stopped after the collision, it is obvious that the driver of the pickup was traveling at a high rate of speed, over and above the speed limit. My dad's semi was struck by a vehicle as he passed a sideroad and the vehicle's impact wasn't felt (dad was hauling lumber) and dad only realized something was wrong when the semi began slowing and he saw sparks coming out from under this trailer. Heavy loads on a trailer dampen the felt impact.

Why do they extract on the scene in the US? Here we wrap the vehicle and put it on a special truck to extract the body in a special garage. We also put up screens so people/drivers don't see what is going on behind it because it's not a pretty sight not even for the firefighters and they see a lot of these. Special help wil be there to take care off the truckdriver and also for the firefighters. Do you have that in the US as well? Or you always do everyrhing on the spot? Just curious, im from the Netherlands by the way.

Everything on the spot because they gotta do analysis and stuff for insurance blah blah blah and when they’re known to be deceased they just keep them there until the coroner and photos etc have been taken & done their job. There’s not even sight of the body yet because it’s not a body anymore. Usually they throw up tar or sheet up if the body can be seen but you can’t even see it in this. Oh the counseling that’s going to be needed Can’t even see the body. You can imagine though and I’m sure there’s ‘stuff ‘ on the pavement. What we can imagine is bad enough what they’re gonna see is so much worse. Plus, they can’t even get that on a flatbed, and they would never get that on a flatbed and haul it off. It has to be dissected like they’re doing… they’re not even gonna get to the ‘body’ till the end probably. Probably take all night, but they gotta get the freeway back open and that’s a busy freeway here in California.

I feel sorry for truck driver that to see what happened to the back of his truck and the sight of a dead person. As for the idiot that was driving the "TUNDRA", not TACOMA; 1. you see that he was speeding, you don't rip your truck clear back to the bed at normal speed; and like most of the morons that drive today, he was probably texting how much fun he was having or ordering pizza.
