Chris Harris makes a perfectly valid point why he dislikes “influencers” that “review” new cars. 9 out of 10 of the can’t peddle a car to save their life yet blow smoke up the asses of manufactures and models of cars that are producing things that aren’t that great or have issues which ultimately leads to said companies producing more shit and more of what real drivers don’t want. All for ratings of their YT channels. Chris Harris isn’t an influencer in that respect. He stays impartial no matter what the car no matter how glitsy or expensive. Hence the reason some manufacturers have fell out with him from time to time. Shmee is a typical example of an “influencer” that fucking wets himself at anything he drives which proves Harris’ point. Not every car is great.

Also he's by n large an owner reviewer - Harris forms opinions over night on a track & b road - two different things entirely. Why would Shmee be cursing out his 675LT when he's been prepared to run it for 4 years ????

UK will end up with about 1700 GR's. A very small number of those who brought one will ever consider fitting a upgraded Lichfield suspension kit. It's also not like Lichfield aren't known. They don't need a 600k you tuber to help sell a product and then pay 25k and a some change out of every sale for the privilege. They could let Mr Harris borrow a yaris for a week for free and all it takes is a post from him saying how good Lichfields suspension was and that would have more of an impact of the sales of the very few units they will eventually sell.

Best way is to listen to people like Chris Harris but also if you are actually interested in buying a car, go out and drive it yourself and gain your own opinion on it. Who cares if other people don’t like it, you might drive it and love it and that’s all that matters.

maybe the maths can be. How many of JWW subscribers own a Gr Yaris divided by how many would mod their cars. Divided by how many would now go and buy a Litchfield suspension pack for 2400 or 2900 pounds. I guess, less than 30 of his subscribers have a GR. And, maybe 10-15 want to mod the suspension. And they already know all about the GR uk tuning companies. 15 mods x 3k = 45k, for 25k video + 3k suspension = 28k. 45k-28k = 17k bonus. Litchfield could of made an extra 17k from that deal max
