Every time I have orderd parts from Deere I have always had instruction with the item. Deere had a system like that back in 2009 when I worked for a local JD dealer. Guess it wasn't available for the small tractors at that time. Nice thing about the kits you get from JD is you get everything you need.

Hi Tim, I have 1025R with a loader bucket, forklifts, brush hog, backhoe, auger, boxblade, rake and mower deck. I use all of them so yes, I'm constantly switching implements. Because my tractor is the primary mower for the property I do remove front and rear implements to mow. I would say on a scale of 1-5, removing the front loader is 2.5 because the plugs don't always release easily and because it's so low on the tractor it's ALWAYS dirty. Not only does this single point get you off the ground, I would think your new disconnect location will stay cleaner. Although I experience this problem more with the rear hoses, but there are rare occasions where I have had to tap the nipple on the male end to relieve pressure so I can insert the hoses. I think this single connect will provide enough leverage that even on the chance that a hose is under pressure the additional leverage you have from the disconnect will mitigate that problem. I will be pitching this to, "finance".

Great video, and what seems to be a very handy quick connect system. I’ll bet that heavy duty bracket you first installed was at least half the cost of the system, based on the engineering that seems to have gone into it. In my personal situation, the loader might as well not even be quick attach because it never comes off, so this really has a little value to me, but I can see where for some people it would. I appreciate you making the video easy to navigate for those who wanted to skip installation, but I ended watching anyway to see what this was all about, and glad I did. Your experience and longevity in your relationship shows with your “Quick Save” regarding the vise. LOL Was very informative and fun to watch. Thank you. 👍

From what I can see of the connector it is substantially stronger than the BX quick connect. The connector on my wife’s BX started leaking. I spent over an hour checking the tightest of the hoses before I actually discovered the cause. The first time it happened and after I checked all the fittings and connecting it back together and reinstalling the loader. The test I was doing showed the leak went the bucket was at a full up or down position. Thus I removed and installed the FEL four or five times. The last time I moved the bushing that the latch snugs the coupler together. The bushing looks more like some kind of composite rather than a strong metal. The other issue is the the Deere quick connector you showed and the two that are on my Grand L is that those have two latches and two bushing. The BX only has one latch. The two latches divide the force of closing and holding the connector tight. The BX only having only one latch has to take all the force. Anyway by just spinning the bushing I could stop the leak, but it meant always testing the connection and removing the loader and trying it again. I had the dealer replace the coupler under warranty and they did. The cost was over $650.00 for that coupler and I noticed that it already has a nick in the bushing. With all the pieces you get with that kit compared to the BX it seems almost free. They are now putting that connector on there B an LX series; however, I don’t know if it is the same one as on the BX or not. If I could get that Fast connector that you have it would certainly be worth it if the hose fitting fit the BX. While the BX is a great machine and does a lot of work quite well, it seems that the main thing Kubota concreted on was shaving price points.

For my 2014 1025R, 5 Years ago I bought a MultiFaster P606 (still available but slightly redesigned ) used for a reasonable price on ebay. also bought an extra implement side section. it has 6 ports. Then i designed and welded up a bracket to mount to the two square holes on the Loader frame upright purchased four short hydraulic hoses (You are correct they are not cheap) to go from under the floor board to the tractor mounted Faster and have been using with pleasure ever since. I remove the loader each time I cut the grass in under 60 seconds and it reattaches just as fast. I also have a connector on my snow blower. This year i did need to change out 3 connection valves due to corrosion so now I keep them covered if I leave the reactor outside. My Original Cab will also fit with this set up so Is well worth the investment. also Faster does offer an electrical connection instead of Hydraulic if desired for the same units. Keep up the good videos. cant show a picture here will post one on www.greentractortalk.com/forums/

I do use my tractor as a multi-purpose tool; but I leave the loader on all the time; even when mowing. OTOH; my mower is a flail mower, and I often find the loader useful for pushing stuff out of the way (6 acres of brush, scrub oaks, and weeds).

I like this and may explore it as an option. You make reattaching the loader look easy. I find it aggravating. The stand hydraulics creep down creating pressure on the line. I routinely am showered with hydraulic fluid during Re-attach.

Your cat seem to love being on the tractor seat and after having come out and find my battery drained because one of the cats here accidentally turned the headlight know to on and it stayed on too long. I've been going back and forth between the bx23s and the 1025 - this just made the decision as I will be reconfiguring the tractor almost weekly. Between the drive over deck and now this there is no reason to not have the tractor properly configured for the job at hand vs leaving something on because you don't want to deal with taking it off.

Update to my post on 5/6/21 I received my single point hydraulic connector and started the install, you have to remember this is not made for the 2017 1023E but from others that posted here I decided to go with it. First off no instructions were included but was able to print them, Mounting the main bracket was straight forward but now installing the fender is more difficult but able to do it but not much clearance, the lines from the connector to the tractor was straight forward just be sure to get them pushed back into the bracket so the loader kick stand clears them when folding, the lines from the connector to the loader I used 90-degree fittings on the hard lines parallel to the boom facing down then connected the lines then to the connector, routing the hoses was difficult they seem to long? but I was able to work it out by looping the hoses facing up than lock the connector to install the loader, after the loader is installed I need to unlock the connector and make a loop with the hoses and reconnect and lock the connector this than gives you the clearance needed to operate the loader with no binding on the hoses. Possibly shortening the hoses maybe the way but will I will have to look at that. also the storage bracket that holds the connector on the loader boom when the loader is removed the two holes has to be drilled to except the bolts to hold the bracket. If anybody has a better way to route the loader hoses please let me know. The quality of the kit is fantastic very well made and package great.

That is an extensive kit for sure, but even though I attach and detach about once a week and $800+ is still way too high, really cool, but it takes me about 10-15 seconds to unattach. Great video though, I like how Tim covers all angles.
@wildcatfan9962
@wildcatfan9962 4 жыл бұрын
I agree. I take mine off and on a bunch and generally the bottom inside is the hardest. I have only had one issue re-attaching when I did not relieve all the pressure from the lines when I took off the loader, but was easy to relieve the pressure on the two lines to reconnect. While I have said many times it should be easier, and this would do that, but $800 is way too much to justify for me. A redesign of the current connectors to add a little more space would solve the problem. I have had mine for almost 5 years now and can take off or put on in less than a minute.

$800 is more than I paid for all my implements except for the 120r loader and 54d mower that came with my 1023e I bought last year. I have a 4' bush hog boom pole carrier all sub soiler an all purpose plow and a quick hitch I take my loader off every time I mow my yard about every 2 weeks and it takes me about 5 minutes. The point is I could think of a lot of other things I could spend $ 800 on a new implement a trailer even my truck was only $950.

Very nice addition to the tractor. I can seen how this will be very great to some since you no longer need to get on or off the tractor to disconnect the FEL. Do you still need to turn the engine off to relieve hydraulic pressure on the couplers? Now that could be a pain.

I have a 1023E with a 54D mid mount mower deck and recently installed the Load-N-Go ramps after watching your video about it. I just viewed your single point connector for the loader video and want to know if you have clearance issues with the load-n-go ramps hitting the existing four quick disconnects for the 120R Loader attached to the right side plastic floor board. When I raise my 54D mid mount mower deck the Load-N-Go ramp hits the quick disconnect and will one disconnect of the the loader hoses. Is there a way to remove the four quick disconnect bracket under the right floor board, by-pass it and connect directly to the rigid hydraulic tubing behind it and neatly tuck it all up neatly under the plastic floor board? Thoughts? Thx, Avid Viewer, Eric Holst Martinsville, In

Hi Tim, another great videos. I will probably buy one of these as I am old and have bad hands and have a hard time connecting the hoses. one question, I have a snow plow, and was wondering, when I put the plow on can you connect the hoses from the plow to the bottom part of the single point, it would have to be one at a time ,but are the fittings the same or something different. I can always just disconnect the hose at the original place and connect the plow hoses like I have in the past, but as I said that is hard for me. Anyway just wondered if they could be connected to the single point. Thank you for any help on this matter.

MooMan86 is pretty simple. Single point hydraulic connector isn`t essential. Most of people removes loaders few times per year the most. I have had 1025r, BX2680 and currently B2601. B2601 has better PTO output and transmission is 3 range, not 2 like JD1025. Beside that, performance of orange 2601 is better than green 2025, and far more than 1025. If you compare 1025 vs 2680, than is a little different story.

Have had my b2601 for 6 months. Love it.... loader lifts more than 1025r, 3 point lifts more, 3 range transmission instead of 2, more PTO hp, single point coupler standard. Get what you want but honestly b2601 vs 1025r is not a fair fight.

Kubota has a draw bar, metal bonnet (JD is plastic) and the dismount hooks are easier on the Kubota. JD has a more ergonomic “dash” compared to the Kubota. The new B2601 has the quick mounting system standard (including the quick couple) and new hybrid R14 tires. I do believe the mounting system on the JD is more rugged and a bit easier to use. 1025r and 2025r use the same loader where the Kubota BX and B series have loaders designed specifically for those tractors. The quick attach for the front attachments is universal on the Kubota compared to JD that only is for JD attachments.

I take my loader off once or twice a week for mowing. It's not overly difficult for me, but damn this would be so much easier and cleaner. My wife can't do the ag couplers either, but she very rarely uses it. Man, I wish this was 300 bucks or so, I just can't afford that much for basically convenience on my part :( Not saying its not worth the asking price at all. I just wish it was down where I could feel okay spending it :)

The faster coupling brand you mentioned has connectors up to 15 hoses. So you could try to piece together a kit with one of there 6 hose connectors for the aux hookup.

Seems like a silly way to spend $800 How often do most ppl take the loader off. I think most ppl buy a sub compact tractor with a loader to use the tractor for things other then a lawn mower. And the loader is not in the way. Just my 2 cent's

TLC Landscaping with the 120R I take mine off and and put it back on every week. It takes me just a couple of minutes and makes it much easier to mow without it.

Tim how did your orient the new hoses that go on the loaded so they go down between the loader frame and the tractor? The stock ones are horizontal to the frame and if the new ones go on like that they want to bulge up. New hoses seem to an after thought in comparison to how the bracket and valve mount

Finally there is a solution. Costly, however with JD every add on is a $K or more, but when you want the best it's going to cost you.

About the question "Is it worth it?": The thing is, we mostly approach this question with our minds already made up that it's soooo difficult to take the loader off that it's not worth it, "I just don't take my loader off", "I can do most things without taking off the loader", "I'll figure out another way". This connector, combined with the loader walking itself on and off makes it worth it, now you can easily take the loader off to do your tractor maintenance, you can do your mowing without front or back implements. You have more visibility when the loader is not needed. You can think of new ways to use your tractor, that you would just have dismissed in your head within a 1/2 second of thinking it before. It's easier to consider using other types front implements like a front snow blower. You can consider doing more things in a forward motions. There are many manufacturers of this type of multi-connector, Liebherr, Faster, Stucchi, Manuli, and more. Next for John Deere would be to include the 3rd, and make it connect at the same time as the loader, in one step: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bImnqqdsYtV5hZI

Just finished welding the mounting brackets (left and right) so that my Kubota bx loader fits on my Iseki. I will get myself these quick connections, since I will remove and put on the loader fairly often. In Germany you can purchase the 1025r with a stoll loader, really nice setup. Nice Video as always.

For close to $900 it is not necessary for me . I can hookup four lines separately for the time it takes. Maybe because of the special green paint things are so expensive . 😁😁

Sometimes I feel that in the modern era for at least compact and subcompact tractors a system like this should just be normal equipment. As a licensed aftermarket piece 800 clams is a gouge to the pocketbook, unless it’s all 100% sourced and manufactured in the USA of course, or if it already existed with manufacturing and everything else present maybe the cost could be lowered maybe I’m nuts for thinking this. If I had a 1025 or other tractor I’d really want this quick disconnect.

I have the older Summit Diverter valve that has ports on three sides of the valve. It was mounted on the inside of loader arm structure, but now interferes with the Single Point Hydraulic connector and there are different fittings (maybe adapters will allow me to convert). The question is where to mount the valve now? It was on loader itself, not sure where to move it to? Everything is so tight.

Advice from someone that uses single point hydro. Keep them clean we use carburetor cleaner due to it not leaving it oily. I've had a lot of problems from them not being cleaned by other truck drivers often. FYI we use them on auto steer wind turbine trailers. I think its cool how the trailer steering on ours using nothing but hydro flow to work the only electronics on the trailer is for the remote when we need to steer it from the back to make some corners.

Hello Tim I have a question? I am looking into this for my 2025R. I am wondering this will work with my heavy duty front snowblower. I have the cab and connecting and disconnecting the hoses is difficult with the cab on. This would be a great solution to quickly switch between the bucket and snowblower. Let me know what you think.
@Steve-hc7ix
@Steve-hc7ix Жыл бұрын
Tell me it's useless if you have a cab on the 1025r. This is a required kit if you bought a 1025r or the 2025 with a Mauser cab. I have one for my front-end loader and one for my snow blower.

Now at $690.80 and having a factory cab its almost imposable to hook up hoses with a 45 deg. ends, ( should have been straight for cab models), the block that the hoses plug into are under the front of the cab and makes it hard to push in straight so I will be ordering this soon. Thank for the review.

I'll take Kubota connector for free with free install on JD. I agree slightly nicer connector but worth $1k plus a day of my labor and still not solves the problem with a 3rd function. May be it is just a green paint.

Nice feature Tim ! That's what i like about my tractor... the couplers are the other way around (male on the tractor) so they don't pick up mutch dirt and easy to clean and by disconnecting you have to pull anyway.

I have been waiting for this option ever since I saw someone on youtube do their own custom fabrication on their 1025R. In the winter I alternate between the loader and the front blade on my second generation 2025r. I suppose you just unhook the hydraulic hoses that feed the single point system and insert the hoses from the front quick hitch but that seems a little counter productive to me. Since I no longer use a snowblower which would require a different setup from the front blade I could add one half of the single point to the four hoses. I would want to have this capability before I jumped to this somewhat expensive option.
