I've heard Jerry and Bud recount this story many times. It just doesn't get old. I had watched one of the Elvis and Nixon pictures, "Elvis Meets Nixon", and it follows the story very closely. Just love Jerry Schilling and watch anything I can find with him. Just a lovely person. Elvis had a true friend in him. God bless you, Jerry.

Gerry schilling is an absolute gentleman i had the pleasure and honour to meet him at a place called the red cow morans Hotel and red cow Inn pub Dublin Ireland i was speechless when i met him

Life imitating Art…you can’t make this stuff up…lol 😂 What shocked me is when Elvis and President Nixon were singing🎵🎤together in the Oval Office at the White House! 🤩Thank you Jerry Schilling and the President Nixon Official Representative for sharing this meeting between Elvis and President Nixon! Amazing and stranger than fiction! When Elvis set his mind to something, it happened! Jerry Schilling is a very good friend to Elvis . He wrote a book 📚 about Elvis Lisa Marie Presley read it and was very pleased with it . I wonder if he’s still alive?

This story is a great piece of music history. Listening to this story and knowing the history of Nixon makes me wonder something. I wonder if Nixon recorded his meeting with The King? How fantastic would it be to hear that.

I freaking wish Bro, Nixon literally started it a couple Month's after this meeting which many say this meeting with Elvis inspired Nixon to do that. Out of all those Damn tapes I 🤔 everyone in the 🌎 as you can see even the 🤓🤓🤡🤡 in Government wish there were tapes. They think 🤔 this meeting was the reason Nixon came up with the idea 💡 to start secretly Recording ⏺️ everything in the White House office.

I like how Jerry and Bud, who were there for a very interesting meeting in the Oval Office, recall the meeting and what lead up to it with fondness because it was an important day in their lives. I think the best portrayal of the meeting is in the ShowTime movie from 1997 titled, "Elvis meets Nixon" It's a really good movie that's available on Amazon Prime.

I love this story, never get tired of hearing it. Jerry seems like a true friend. The only thing is, it's 42 years later, and he still makes a living off his relationship with Elvis. He's produced Elvis documentaries, goes on tour with the RPO backing Elvis, etc. I'm not sure it's necessarily a bad thing, I'm just saying that he still depends on Elvis. He and Priscilla are always co-producers on everything. Just seems a bit strange.

i don't think he is he jst loves elvis so much he love to share his stories , elvis would have no problem his friend might take a wage the man has to earn so wat if he is ? he is living his life sharing his life with the fans long as i get to hear him i don't care if he is earning a bob or two . is it a case he depends on elvis he loved with him grew up with him he wants to share wat he knows jerry & prescilla are working hard to promote elvis let them be

I would have loved him to tell the story when him and Elvis use to fight over his beautiful black backup singer Myrna Smith.. who Elvis slept with for years....Well... eventually Jerry Schillings married...
