Just moved here just after the 4th of July... Right off Coastal down route 9... Traffic can be tough as I have quickly learned but is nothing compared to where I used to live. Love it here in Lewes ! Thanks for posting !

In the 80s the traffic was not that bad. As soon as the Tanger outlet opened up in 90s traffic started getting bad.

There were also about 1/3 the number of residents in the 80s that there are now. Most places have changed drastically over that 40 year span

​​@@MattLunden I used to remember as kid on Route 1 there used to be a bonanza or Ponderosa restaurant. They use to have horses or ponies in the front. Right after you ended the video there used to be a motel called the dolphin and now it's condos I think. I sure do miss the old days

Thanks for this video! What time of day we’re you traveling (sorry if I missed that)? Could you address beach parking in one of your videos? I’ve read that some folks who move to the area and live just miles from the beach can’t really ever go because there’s nowhere to park.

This was about noon on a Friday. Depends entirely on the beach. The people that can’t find parking haven’t found the local spots that others don’t know about or don’t like to go to. Unfortunately I’ll not be sharing those spots on here for obvious reasons
