TRAILER: A journey to the arctic. A 1650 km family arctic snowmobile expedition.
15 days on snowmobiles as a famliy, camping in our otter tent, and exploring the Canadian arctic.
We have just returned from our 15 day journey. We traveled by snowmobile through the remote northern Yukon and Northwest territories, to arrive to the arctic ocean. We stopped at a remote island in the beaufort sea.
The anticipation was palpable as our family gathered in Fort McPherson, ready to embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure: a 1650 km snowmobile expedition through the Canadian Arctic. For 15 days, we would journey together, camping in our trusty otter tent and exploring the vast, untamed wilderness of the northern Yukon and Northwest Territories.
Setting out on our snowmobiles, the cold Arctic air biting at our cheeks, we felt a sense of exhilaration and freedom unlike anything we had experienced before. The landscape stretched out before us, a pristine blanket of snow that seemed to go on forever, punctuated only by the occasional cluster of trees or rocky outcrop.
As we rode through the remote northern territories, the rhythm of the snowmobiles became a familiar and comforting sound, blending with the howl of the wind and the crunch of our tracks on the snow. Each day brought new challenges and discoveries, from navigating treacherous terrain to marveling at the breathtaking beauty of the Arctic landscape.
Our journey took us to the northernmost point of the Yukon, where we stood in awe at the rugged beauty. Surrounded by icy waters and snow-capped mountains and muskox, we felt the raw power and majesty of the Arctic all around us. It was a moment of pure connection with the natural world, a reminder of how small we are in the face of such vastness.
Camping in our otter tent at night, with the fire crackling in the stove, we enjoyed warmth and companionship, we shared stories and laughter under the twinkling blanket of stars above. The simplicity of our surroundings, the crackling of the fire, and the distant howl of a wolf in the night all served to deepen our bond as a family, forging memories that would last a lifetime.
As we continued our journey, we encountered challenges that tested our resolve and brought us closer together. Blizzards and whiteouts swept in unexpectedly, forcing us to navigate using instruments only, while minor breakdown and stuck issues with the snowmobiles and toboggans slowed down our progress. But each time, we rose to the occasion, drawing on our resourcefulness and resilience to overcome whatever obstacles lay in our path.
And finally, after 15 days of snow and ice, of laughter and adventure, we arrived at back in Fort mac Pherson after reaching our destination: the Arctic Ocean. Standing on the frozen shore, the frozen sea ice stretching out before us to the horizon, we felt a sense of accomplishment and wonder unlike anything we had ever experienced. This Arctic snowmobile expedition had tested us in ways we could never have imagined, but it had also brought us closer together as a family, creating a bond that would endure long after our journey had ended.
This expedition has changed us in ways we can never fully articulate. The Arctic has left its mark on our souls, imprinting us with a sense of awe and respect for the wild beauty of the north. And as we rode off into the fading light, the memory of our journey would forever be etched in our hearts, a testament to the power of family, adventure, and the indomitable spirit of the Arctic snowmobile expedition.
Get ready for lots of family moments, action, and adventure in a reality style series.
We hope you'll enjoy travelling with us as much as we 've enjoyed filming and sharing this experience with you.

Your son will learn more from homeschooling and expeditions like this than he could ever learn in a public school. He's very lucky to have parents like you, and he will do well in life. Public schools are a wasteland.

Hopefully not! it’s a busy time of the year for our business at the moment, so not much time for editing, but we are working on it when we can!

How did the house at Hershel get full of snow? Polar bear break the door down?
@TheBrientFamily
@TheBrientFamily 4 ай бұрын
Indeed, a bear broke in through a window and the rear half of the cabin filled completely with snow. The front half ain’t that bad and we cleaned it and boarded the window. The bone house was also broke in and partially filled up. The bear pull a bunch of bones out but it ain’t too bad. A storage building got broke in and filled with snow as well.
Adventure in the arctic, an unexpected Plan B. Making a big decision as a family.
