30 x6 mm flat bar stitch welded under the drawbars from behind the coupling back to within 200 mm from the other end stops the problem, stops it from flexing and cracking.

Yes Peter these are the things we'll get to one day ;) The base trailer was too light to be dragged behind a heavy vehicle.
