I found the R1 a bit wider for my narrow mid foot but wide toe box. Love them.

Yeh they’re a wider shoe than these for sure. I think my favorite it the S1 right now.

i don't know what running shoe is best for me. I know im not a toe striker. I am most definitely a heel striker as it feels like im stumping when running. I say i have pretty wide feet. Narrow shoes hurt my feet and don't work for me. Can you help.. if you have a suggestion for this brand or any other that would be great. I like hokas as well!

Hey 👋🏼 from the Mount To Coast brand the R1 would be best due to the wider fit, and softer midsole. When it comes to Hoka, these are my top picks right now: www.trailandkale.com/gear/best-hoka-running-shoes-reviewed/

You could try the Hoka Skyflow in the ‘wide’ version. Here’s my review of them: kzbin.info/www/bejne/raPJqn2Og9KYgqM

Would be interested to hear your thoughts on the best running shoe for me. Stats: Male, 6’, 185lbs, size 10.5. Primarily have been training for a 70.3 triathlon for the past year or so. Weekly miles range from 12 - 25 miles depending on type of week. 60-80 miles a month. Many years ago I had knee issues (was wearing horrible Nikes at time). Support and comfort are very important to me. I’ve been wearing the Hoka Bondi 8s for the past three years and have 0 complaints. I think these played a huge role in overcoming knee issues. However, I’m always curious if there is something better out there. I’ve tried the Hoka Mach Xs, didn’t like them (especially for the training) not enough support. I might wear these for a short speed workout, or maybe a short race, but I really enjoy the support of the Bondi 8s. I’ve also tried the On Cloudmonster. Wasn’t a fan, felt like my foot was moving around in the shoe (despite it fitting properly), and lack of support. Again, I’m very happy with the Bondi 8s but would like to hear your thoughts on if there is a better / alternative shoe I should look into. The Mount to Coast S1 has caught my eye, but not sure how it compares to the Bondi 8s.

I just ordered these and they just shipped today. I generally run 5ks, although I just signed up for my first marathon. So looking forward to using these for longer training runs. Thank you for the review.
