Train Journey | Guruvayur to Ernakulam by 06447 Express Special train!

How about a 3 hour long journey by a stopping shuttle train? Presenting a video from a journey that I did in July from Guruvayur to Ernakulam Junction on the 06447 Guruvayur - Ernakulam "Express Special". This train was earlier a "passenger" train, and hence stops at ALL stations on the route.
This is a 97 kilometre ride, and takes a little over 3 hours to complete. The fare for this journey is only Rs. 50 - it costs almost double to travel by bus! This journey covers the Thrissur-Guruvayur spur line - which is not much documented!
The Thrissur - Ernakulam stretch is dotted with stations - a good number of them are 'halt' stations, where only this kind of trains stop. This slightly long video covers ALL the stations this train stopped! Do watch this video and let me know if you'd love to see more of such videos!
