Thank you for explaining some of exercises and how to execute them correctly! I would love more stuff like that because me and my girl friends always feel a little lost at the gym and only stick to our standard exercises. Maybe you could even add how you put your sets together? Like how do I know how many reps I need to do? When do I increase the weight? And what is a superset? Ive been going to the gym for years now so I'm kind of embarrassed to ask but I'm sure there is some science behind it. Right now I go with what feels right 🤷🏼♀️

You increase weight when your reps are getting too easy. Most to 3-4 sets with 8-15 reps. Super sets are what she did where you do two exercises with no rest in between the. Instead of doing lat pull down, rest, push-up, rest, lat puldown. You’re doing lat pull down, push up, rest, lat pull down. It’s good to get more done in less time because you aren’t resting as much. I only do super sets.

Hey girl. Honestly, there is soooo much information out there to answer your questions. I know it can be overwhelming and confusing but if you’ve been going to the gym for years then it’s obviously something worth researching/looking into. I don’t believe there’s a right or wrong number of reps or sets to be doing, everyone is different and you need to find what works for you and your goals. That being said strength training is normally between 1-5 reps, muscle gain/hypertrophy is between 5-12 repetitions. Then endurance training is between 15-60 reps. You increase your weight when it’s too easy for the given number of reps you have chosen to do. I typically say be 1-3 reps away from failure. I’m studying a sport/PT course so I’m happy to answer any other questions. But good luck, and there’s no need to be embarrassed. Even “professionals” are constantly learning, making mistakes and failing lifts. 🙂

It's so nice to see someone show us not only the fun part of training but also the suffer and struggle of the last reps. Anyway, gg 'cause since I've started following you you've progressed so much, you've got stunning gains! 👏👏👏

Could you make a video about how you looked before you started with gym training and a before. Including what you did to get your results. You are my inspiration and I wanna have the same result but I find it hard to reach them even when I train consistently.
@paula.taybron3 жыл бұрын
Hey girlie! I think the top things you should focus on for results is nutrition (making sure you meet your protein goal each day 🔑) and making sure the exercise is challenging. I talk about it in my recent vid so hope that helps. You got this girlie! 🙌🏼🔥💕

Lovee the consistent video's!! Could you please make some video's or one about how you structure your workouts and how you choose your exercises. Do you follow a certain scheme (your own or from a person trainer?) And what do you do when the scheme ends, how do you keep progressing overloading? Especially the last question, because my scheme almost ends, but I have no idea
@paula.taybron3 жыл бұрын
Hey girlie! It all depends mainly on your goals and the time you have available to work out. You can choose the simplest ‘scheme’ (for example: working out M, W, F and having the same full body compound exercises) and always apply progressive overload either by increasing weight or reps. Like the ‘scheme’ doesn’t end. Hope that makes sense. But some people have more time to work out. I use a 5 day workout split so I usually isolate upper bod and lower bod when I workout like she does. I’m 11 months pp so I’ve had to start over but def keep it simple and make sure it’s a sustainable plan ☺️💪🏼💕

If you place a wet paper towel on your cutting board it will absorb the oil from the onion. Apparently the oils are attracted to our eyes because they are the wettest thing closest to the onion.

Oh, and Fantastic Sophie Love, listen. Don't forget to sprinkle lemon juice on top of your food. It's extremely important and *beneficial* for your health. Some hemp seeds wouldn't hurt as well, trust me on this one. Thought of it while cooking and steaming in the kitchen while enjoying Norah Jones on my Sony Walkman paired with my Etymotic in-ears (3SE), life is so good when you allow yourself to be happy. I marinate my tofu with e.g. turmeric, black pepper, soy (or ketjap) sauce. Trying the curry soon since you love it so much :-) Also, (vegetable) broth is a really good idea. My flavor is Himalaya salt preferably although sea-salt is good as well, of course. Furthermore, I sincerely love how you got some healthy fat on you (healthy mamí phat, SO GOOD!!!!). Might wanna consider wireless in-ears (the Sony WF-1000XM4 is said to be terrific, although pricey). Me, myself, utilize Etymotic in-ears or Sennheiser during workouts. Last but not least, you look really beautiful, and so strong (especially your arms and shoulders), and so nice, friendly. Your bf must be so happy with this terrific package. Hope you be super prosperous on numerous terrains!
