I like how Srg. Zim transformed from sadistic bastard as he was introduced at the beginning, showing later his human face during administrative punishment. well, given that the field would be swarming with bugs that will tear you apart, I don´t think a medic would fix it when a poor soul ended up split in 2. I would suppose they are ready to deal with Sgt Zim more than with actual combat situation those guys will be facing and pray to god that whoever comes back from that battlefield can still be fixed.
