That can't be TV shows either. Sitting and watching TV together isn't quality time, it's switched off zoned out time. If you are part of a fan community based around a show, that's different. What I love most about your channel, Courtney, is that you encourage everyone to be the best possible version of themselves. The unhappier you are with your life, the more likely you are to be a shitty person. Thus, by encouraging people to be the best possible version of themselves, the more likely they are to be happier and attract others. Very simply idea, yet I find that most self-help KZbin channels lack this. And that's sad, because I think that if people were happier with themselves, the better the world would be. Yes I miss exactly THIS. I am a matur woman. I spent my entire 20s hitting the books learning and became a professional I didnt date I never partied I have zero experience going to hars, parties, drinking etc. Sounds like a boring woman BUT it got me where I am in lIfe. I got married had a child and stayed wit nthe same wonderul man 41 years, until he passed away recently, my daughter is a career military pilot. I had a terrific relationship with my partner. We together made all our dreams come true. Now I live abroad and it is seems impossible to meet a hugh value man. Money had zero to eith it. It is his character, his mind, whether he is well read, a thinker like me a man of ideas who can discuss many things. The man has to excite my MIND first. Onñy then can my body follow. But I know I am different...a career clinical psychology professor I know what makes people tick like a watchmaker understands clocks. My problem is I can see a persons perspnañity very quickñy are they conscientious...if tye guynis a slob in his apperance well then NO he is not conscientious. Is the man somwehee arou d the middñe in extroverdion interversion...if he is standing onna chair regaling people.at a party or bar then no thanks..if he never leaves his house ditto. Is he at ease eith other humans. Is he open to travel and other cultures well where I live abroad the answer is almost always yes. But now come the really important ones how ageeeablemor disagreeable is he? Too agreeable and he is a pushover for everyone no thanks not manly, if he is a disagreeable then no, because he is a jerk. Right around the average is best. Neuroticism is also very important ...if he has very odd personaluty quircks that I can spot a mile off then no...is he obsessive or compulsive, dogmatic, Machiavellian ie manipulative, is he grandiose and full of himself too much or so shy and with such low self esteem he cant talk and banter a little. All this and more go into making a man high value has zero to do with his bank account.

I totally agree with the qualities you shared in this video. What is huge for me is that a woman who has a growth mindset and supportive. My ex-GF just broke up with me last year right when the pandemic started and you hit it right on the money when you mentioned listening as one of the most overlooked qualities in a high-value woman. I'm not going to say that I don't have flaws myself. I believe I have learned a lot from the failed relationship, I just don't have the right opportunity right now but I'm slowly working on it. Back to the listening part, I understand that we usually want our thoughts and opinions to matter however we often neglect the part of listening to others whether it is someone really important or not. I believe a person who truly listens is a must-have in a relationship. Being able to work things out with your partner crucial if you want the relationship to succeed. Sometimes it's better to keep the relationship rather than being right.

Every human being has the same value for me. We are all equal. In the end it is what both partners in a relation offer to each other, versus what they want. The key factors of a relationship are respect, mental health and personal growth. It requires both to work on it. It is not granted from the beginning, it is built. The problem of showing "high value" is that you risk buying cheap mirrors that shine, instead of diamonds that look like coal. My wife did not shine when I met her. But I knew the traits I wanted and did not want, and I saw her undeveloped potential. Notice I was not intending to change her. It was that people always have things in a state of disrepair that are the result of hardships. Think of a nice car. You see the engine is in great condition, but its painting looks like the Millenium Falcon piece of junk. She was not going to impress anyone by her looks. She was not confident, she would not impress anyone. But she has a heart of gold, and I was able to see that. And she wanted a serious relationship, not playing games. Best decision ever. Getting rid of her insecurities and fears was a pleasant process. She could see what I was made of. Mature love has no drama, we communicate, like adults. Drama is for teenagers. I knew marriage was like a gun with only one bullet. Failing marriage is too sad and complicated. I could not afford to fail. I never saw her like a high value person. What I could see was her heart of gold, and her integrity, surrounded by disrepair that I knew that would not be a big deal to repair. The good thing about looking for diamonds that look like coal is that nobody is looking, so I would have better chances and the final result would be better. Other guys are sold shiny high value, but they buy a mirror that breaks and cuts. She did not self love, hardships made her be demoralized. She did not seek validation. She just embraced her apparent lack of worth. But I knew that if she could see her worth, she would have self love, and she did. I did not complete her. She was already complete and I was too. I just opened a door she did not see and she walked inside the room of self love. I loved that she wanted to be a better human.

I think the best way to tell if she's high value is her relationship with her father. Fatherless house holds are on the rise and changing the culture in a negative way.

Speaking in the context of a healthy vibrant relationship- A high value woman will be confident, but she will still rightly need some validation from her man. Still independent but clearly 'better' by being in this healthy relationship. She understands that 'submission' to her man's leadership is actually the secret to empowering and energizing her relationship. She is supportive as her man also supports her. She is mature, emotionally strong possessing sound character: loyal, virtuous, honorable, kind, generous, etc...a woman like this will automatically be 'intelligent' witty and wise.

Well if she isn't similar to you Courtney; she's not high value to me lol 😆 jk jk. Seriously, i appreciate your excellent take on this very broad topic. I was watching a video the other day where the guy from teaching mens fashion channel was being interviewed and he said a Man who is high value is someone who provides high value. What we can do for others (society) is high value. For example, what you do for us here is high value. Anyways lol, thanks for helping me figure out what woman is right for me my friend 🌻

Really enjoying these videos. After my ex fiancé broke up with me a week after Valentine’s Day made me reevaluate my life and what I want in a woman. Was never one for cologne or anything like till I watched your videos and realized I need to be confident and comfortable in myself to have a healthy relationship and even working on mental health with a therapist to help better under myself. I gave up things I cared about for her and was making me hurt and would open up and she would shut down. Wouldn’t work on herself and work on things together.

Oh my gosh, I’m sorry that happened to you! Good for you for working on yourself and striving to reach the best. I’m rooting for you 🥰

Thank you been great help. She even said to me I got comfortable to you wearing jeans and t-shirts. I should’ve seen that as a sign before making custom engagement ring. But I’m big into concerts so always dress in band shirts or racing shirts and blue jeans but after watching your video on clothes I’m looking at getting darker denim. And find some cologne scents I enjoy. I learned through therapy I need to make sure I don’t change who I am for someone and find woman who likes affection, cuddling, and spending time together. So thank you for all these videos and helping me get better understanding of woman’s perspective always nervous talking to a woman and your videos are helping me be more confident.

I have yet to hear the advantage of having a relationship from the point of a man. Women want relationships because they need men to make their lives interesting. Outside of sex, why do men need women. What value do they really bring?

I hear ya (and I liked your comment), but I'm happy to say that in all of my serious to somewhat serious relationships at this point in my life (with the exception of my horrible and short-live marriage, ironically), my girlfriends have brought a lot of value to my life beyond just our sex in terms of fun times, companionship, and emotional support during some rough times. Most of my serious exes truly felt like my best friend for at least a good portion of the relationship----a best friend with "benefits"

Great advice and awareness kiddo! The only thing that I'd add is that you make the determination of whether the girl is high value prior to committing to a monogamous relationship. It's not possible to determine whether a woman is high value until you've dated her for a few months. It may seem like a guy isn't serious about finding the right person, or is playing the field, but dating is a necessary aspect of determining the value set of the person you're considering for a relationship. What do you say about a girl that wants commitment before the guy does? My point is that if she wants commitment and is patient, she may be the forever girl, but if she wants commitment before a high value guy, who has options and is hard to get, she might miss out on something special by making ultimatums. It's been my experience that girls that I'm still getting to know may want commitment because they need commitment prior to allowing themselves to accept any vulnerability or out of fear of being hurt if things don't work out. The only bullet point that I would add to your analysis would be courage. It hasn't been my experience that women are particularly courageous!
@user-lt1jd1ye3v10 ай бұрын
You have no right to make a girl wait longer than 3 months to commit to her. If she’s as high-value as you expect/want her to be, she isn’t going to waste her time. You should propose within the year and you don’t need years to figure out if she’s a good person or not. That should only take a few months.

I’m interested in seeing the type of video where she analyzes what’s in the middle about the traits a man or woman is likely to have. An interesting angle, because it’s pretty open/shut to say what most people objectively like and dislike. It’s another to open about what’s more likely to be out there, or at least if you present desirable qualities, being able to bring up the possible negatives that go hand in hand with having those qualities.
