There was a time when "every major medical association" supported castrating gay men. The idea that medical concensus is unquestionable (esoecially on diagnoses like trans, which are 100% subjective, with NO empirical diagnosis criteria) is just insane.

Or there’s people with internalized misogyny or confusion from puberty.. This is why exploratory therapy is important, to find why the Dysphoria is there, what the unconscious reasons are. @@atyboony6941 Yes. They are used for precocious puberty, which is a condition BASED ON EVIDENCE that the child has a PHYSIOLOGICAL NEED for the drug... Which is different from giving it to kids in PERFECT PHYSICAL HEALTH, based on no evidence at all. They also give children open-heart surgery. So that makes it A-okay to slice open a kid's chest, when ALL EVIDENCE says they're perfectly healthy, right? Coz they do the surgery on OTHER kids (those with evidence-based heart problems), so that's TOTALLY THE SAME as doing it, based on no evidence at all, right? Do you even THINK about what you're saying? Or do you just parrot whatever you're told? Why is it so vital to make these children (superfically appear to) conform to gender stereotypes, anyway? What's wrong with just LETTING a little boy wear dresses, and play with dolls? Why can he only wear dresses and play with dolls AFTER you chemically mutililate him, and make this perfectly physically healthy child, is made drug-dependent, for life? I think the social media factor is a huge aspect of why we're seeing a spike, specifically in teenagers, of people who want to transition. When I was a teenager, I wouldn't wear skirts or 'girly' clothes because I hated my body, I cut off all my hair in middle/high school, I roleplayed as a guy online (complete with a named alter ego), and I was deeply depressed, self-harming, and suicidal. If online trans spaces had been something I'd known about, I would have been an active participant. If gender dysphoria had been a commonly seen diagnosis in the 2000's, I would have received it. It took me until I was in college to actually embrace the body I was born into and enjoy being a woman. Kids go through phases, but also kids crave acceptance. Trans-positive online communities give them a space that is incredibly accepting and affirming, and it provides a very simple explanation to feeling uncomfortable in their bodies or unaccepted by their irl communities.

I'll never understand how people could think it's not harmful for a child's development to stop their puberty. In the case of precocious puberty I get it, because that's happening when it isn't supposed to. But stopping a puberty that's happening right on track? They don't think that will have harmful effects on the brain at the very least even if they go off the blockers later? I mean I'm not a doctor and I'm not sure that any studies show this to be the case, but it seems logical to me to assume that it might have that kind of effect. If you stunt a child's development in other areas it can fuck them over for life even if you try to correct it later, and we do know this for sure.

The Q seems to be all about dismantling societal mores and being 'different'. When someone says they're queer, it could mean 100 different things. @@janinebrittanica4314 Think I'll try. ^^ To me, 'Queer' or Q is a nice umbrella term/category that can encapsulate a lot of the non-heternormative identities that don't strictly fall along the lines of 'lesbian', 'gay', 'bi', or 'transgender'. (Examples: Aromanticism, Non-binary identities, Asexuality, Gender fluidity, Polyamory, and much more). Plus, queerness in non-western cultures (and languages) can't always be neatly equated/simplified to the categories of L,G,B, or T. Sometimes 'Queer' can help in translation of terms. (Or as a nice placeholder word). Also, for people who don't know exactly where they fall on the spectrum, are fluid in their identity or have multiple aspects (to their queerness), 'Queer' can be a simpler/better term to use (instead of listing a whole bunch of terms, yanno?) To reduce queerness to the idea of just being different for the sake of being different is shallow in my opinion. So much of the world's cultures revolves around gender (including gender roles & norms), love and sex. People are quick to denounce, reject or vilify those who don't follow the current norm. We shouldn't be made to fit into the small, rigid and currently accepted heteronormative categories . We deserve to be thought about (or at the very least, our existence acknowledged). This label helps in recognition of that. Hope this response wasn't too long! ^^'

The change from the stricter definition of the T in LGBT (aka Transsexual) to now include Non-binary has not only widened the gender spectrum but also widened the spectrum of how strongly and seriously one feels attachment to the gender they see themselves ass. Essentially the non-binary element has greatly dilluted the seriousness of transsexual experince to where now people are expected to take an alien-gender person (who switches genders every five minutes and has identities that aren't even a part of the binary or human existence who doesn't have dysphoria) as seriously and compassionately as a transexual person with deeply brutal gender dysphoria and life-long medicalization. I'm not discounting the likelihood that some non-binary trans people have had an equal degree of dysphoria and profound attachment to the gender they see themselves as. But there are quite obviously a shit load of non-binary trans who have almost no euphoria and a tenuous connection to the gender they like to be called. It's like shoving paranoid schizophrenics and over-imaginitive daydreamers under the same label where the overimaginative daydreamers claim that their mental disposition brings on the same degree of social struggle and oppression and deserves to be affirmed and garner equal sympathy. I think our sympathy and respect towards someones identity should be in proportion to how deeply they feel attached to that identity. Otherwise, a change in outfits will soon become an identity that people will think has deeper connotations.

I live in NWGA and in a different video you spoke about a bar that seemed lesbian owned. I would love to know where that was. My favorite club in Chattanooga, Images, closed down 2ish years ago and good places are hard to find around here.

New subscriber so I know I'm so late to this video. I doubt anyone will read it as I just subscribed today, but i can't support children getting medical procedures and the hormone treatments or blockers. I am 39 and am what you might call a butch lesbian. I grew up in residential facilities and i was told i had gender dysphoria and when i said no i don't they would talk to me acting like i wanted to be male and i was very defensive. I'm a female I'm happy that way, but had I caved in that Vermont facility, i might have really thought they were right and made mistakes. I felt very pressured and they would say oh you like girls oh you wear male clothes. I was an athletic person so they picked on that too! I am so glad i didn't change my body. I was stunned when non of the trans people sat down for the first question about medical treatment for minors.

The problem with the cultural trend-fronting and politicization of gender dysphoria, is those who want to work as a psychiatrist to help kids with gender dysphoria will inevitably have a siginificant enough political stance that influences and likely informs the interactions and decisions they make when with their patients. The MOST important thing for a psychiatrist to do is to have as little emotional skin in the game as possible. Their goal is to be as objective and impartial as humanly possible, but with the social norms of self-identificaton and blind affirmation being prominent, it makes engaging with a patient a conflict of interest, not just on the politically possessed psychiatrists side, but also on the patients side who has a head full of leftist lgbtq activism in their heads. And both of these people are inevitably gonna steeer eachother towards the conclusion of diagnosing gender dysphoria. (UNLESS. YOU HAVE AN EXTREMELY CAREFUL AND PROFESSIONAL PSYCHIATRIST)

Thank you for advocating for children. Children's brains are not even fully developed. I support them socially transitioning because it is reversible and they can live that experience but have the option to go back to their gender if they choose. I do have a question... Alexander on Jubilee said Non Binary falls outside of Binary yet isn't Transgender/Transexual on its face or by its very nature, Binary? I don't understand putting them under the same umbrella and conflating the two if thats true. Just trying to understand as the issue of children is an important one and I support Transgender people. When I saw Jessica say on Jubilee that she doesn’t use the female restroom out of respect, I thought, I would share any restroom with her and all of you. I just want all women protected and men not abusing this issue. I saw the video of the spa and knowing young girls were there while in a state of undress at their most vulnerable horrified me.

And notice 2 of those topics everyone both transitioned and detransitioned pretty much saw eye 2 eye on. 1. People with gender dysphoria need therapy not surgery. 2. The LGBTQIA+ is as not as excepting as they claim to be.

Omg at 3:40, I had kind of had a similar thing happen to me and then I wanted to look different for a short while to look less attractive to men, I dressed a bit more masculine to try and get more respect from people and to not have men attracted to me sexually but for who I am as a person. I was never trans though and never claimed to be but a woman disguising my femininity

The actual surgery is not safe enough. It's ok to keep the parts we were born with while also being trans. Is that idea too wild?
@nickname2935 Жыл бұрын
Most transsexuals do not get genital surgery for that very reason. It is incredibly dangerous and the outcome is often not worth it. I mean, you don't walk out that surgery with the opposite full functioning genitalia. You get something that looks approximately alike and hopefully has the bare minimum function.
@heroncolby2842 Жыл бұрын
Honestly the entire idea of "tπans" is nonsensical. But this is something even more stupid, a person with gender dysphoria being okay with the genitals that literally define their gender. Like Make that make sense. Let's face it, what most of the so called "tπans" people Nowadays have it's actually autogynephilia. A kink and a obsession with being the opposite gender.

Transitioning is false advertising . Everyone knows that nobody transitions at all . What’s actually happening is mimicry . A man can dress like a woman , act like woman and believe he is a woman but the fact is he is and always will be a man . His mental health is always awry because he knows the reality of his situation. And this is why there is such a push to coerce everyone into affirming transgender people to reinforce the falsehood that they can be something that they are not and can never be .
@gimygaming8655 Жыл бұрын
Gender dysphoria is a serious illness but they will always keep their biology. Definitely recommend "the offensive tr@nny" because he doesn't deny that he is a woman, but lives is life as a man because of a mental illness. He also doesn't agree with "non binary"

I think the term "tπans" it's fundamentally flawed. Because in order to validate it one has to subscribe to a idea that simply isn't real or true. So I don't acknowledge the "tπans" term at all any longer. Now what I do is, I referred to people with dysphoria as dysphoric individual's, To be as accurate and truthful as possible. In this case Sarah is by all metrics a Man with gender dysphoria. Not "tπans", he's still a Man. But he is dealing with a psychological disassociative condition that he hasn't overcome yet.
