I mean... at 1:19:40 when she's straight up ignoring the entire point of the issue to talk about Black people - and that people need to understand that's where she's coming from... that wasn't the issue being talked about, so why self insert so heavily into it...? The scream for "tolerance" but can't even tolerate that some people have different ideas that don't agree with them. The only liberals I am thankful for are real liberals whom I can actually have normal conversations with and don't have to always walk on eggshells. People don't always have to agree on things. Because they're not even non binary either. What they ACTUALLY have is facetious disorder. The trans community provides a LOT of very convenient and attractive plausible deniability for people who're actually suffering from facetious disorder. And many Drs and therapists and parents are now falling into the facetious disorder imposed on another category. It's very alarming because its the deadliest form of abuse there is. "In factitious disorder imposed on another, a caregiver makes a dependent person appear mentally or physically ill in order to gain attention. To perpetuate the medical relationship, the caregiver systematically misrepresents symptoms, fabricates signs, manipulates laboratory tests, or even purposely harms the dependent (e.g. by poisoning, suffocation, infection, physical injury). It is important to note the caregiver is not performing this behavior for obvious external reward, such as money. Studies have shown a mortality rate of between six and ten percent, making it perhaps the most lethal form of abuse."

Jubilee cannot go on without dual moderators. Clearly, time and time again, they’ve shown themselves unable to even try to be fair. 1. One side made an explicit violent threat to the other. Completely unprovoked, and the moderator didn’t just allow it but wanted the other to respond to it. 2. Ending the discussion early so blossom’s strange insertion of “my blackness shouldn’t pay for your whiteness” could be a forced mic-drop moment. 3. The conservative side made absolutely no personal remarks. The other side took their arguments as personally as they possibly could, and responded in personal attacks. What was the point of having a moderator that doesn’t even point out when one side completely derails the conversation? I used to participate in debate and there wasn’t a single moment where 1) the moderator didn’t keep the conversation focused or 2) penalize people for making comments about the other’s character or motivations (you know, things that have absolutely no bearing on the truth of someone’s statements). This was a mess and you guys are going to fizzle as quickly as you grew unless you start moderating the debates.

I fully agree. I am European tuning in on this. A public bathroom in Europe has a fully sealed door, you are in a private space from top to bottom. A lot of public bathroom stalls in the US have these annoying gaps on the sides, a foot below and even more on the top. You feel exposed there anyhow. If there were bathrooms that are actually designed to ensure you can do your thing in privacy, in a unisex bathroom/family bathroom, there would not be an issue. Due to ut being "everyones space", everyone would have a stake at keeping it a clean and safe space.

As a liberal, I agree she was annoying and that felt a little too much. Blossom and Blair were both insufferable and should not have been there.

I really wish Jessica talked more. She has been trans for longer than any of the people there, and when Blossom talks about privilege...Jessica lived most of her life not transitioning and grew up in a completely different time. We need to listen more to people who have experienced what it was like to grow up back then.

Jessica hasn’t been trans longer than the other people there… She mentioned transitioning late in life, eight years ago. Blair came out as trans in 2015 and Andrew said he was binding for eight years. Some of the other participants didn’t mention specific timelines.

Glad she has perspective on the military. As a military wife and daughter knowing just the info I’ve seen from my dad and husband, it isn’t easy to join, they will knit pick everything including 20 year adhd diagnosis. My hubby just had that due to their new rules. The culture as she said is so different but it’s so constant and also disorganized 😅

When they talked over the only vet there about military issues. Smh. She could have been a fountain of youth to actually find a middle ground.
