Transfer Station Update - CD&D Material Expected to Return

Daviess County Fiscal Court has approved design work for a new concrete pad at the Grimes Avenue Transfer Station.
The construction will allow for the return of Construction & Demolition Debris (CD&D) in the future.
Since July 2023, all CD&D waste in trailers, dump trucks, and roll-offs has been directed to the Landfill.
Commissioner Chris Castlen shares his excitement for bringing the CD&D material back to the Transfer Station. The timeline for this project is still to be determined.
