Just tried this and worked perfectly. Will use these wonderful bumps to make jewelry with the kids. Thank you for the great tip to use up those mistakes!

Thank you so much Maggie, I'm delighted that you both enjoyed the journey! I love following you and your beautiful farm/story too, I think that we have a lot in common. This coming weekend is the second anniversary of the print and dye borders so expect a garden walk around to be released very soon too.

As a new wet-felter with lots of samples, this is just what I needed! Thank you. I noticed that you cut apart the beading after washing. Can I leave it together as a necklace or is there a step I need to take after washing?
@clasheen3 жыл бұрын
Hi Meryl, I think you’ll have great fun making these beads! Usually I would cut the thread and restring the beads especially if I wanted to use elastic cord or other jewellery making supplies to string them on. However, the upholstery thread I shared in the video is very strong so the necklace I’m wearing wasn’t cut at all! Some thread though will weaken in the wash so it’s always safer to thread them again, just advising!
