I lived in the BX all my life, up until the pandemic and I saw a gun once and that was when an adult decided it would be cool to show us his gun at a pizza shop when we were teens. I had a great childhood in the BX and I’m highly educated, and earn well. I attribute a lot of that to what the BX gave us in terms of education and drive. I also got a lot of culture. Growing up on the same block as the Boris, the Dominicans, Jamaicans, Trini, Africans and Black ppl made me well rounded and cultured AF.

Record labels are the real stick-up guys. They've done all the analytics, crunched their numbers and know the average lifespan of each of these kids or their careers.
