Hello Johnny, inspired by your videos. I’m 55 years old working in the medical field, first as an orderly, then a Respiratory Therapist, and for the past 25 years in medical sales. With these extraordinary times we are facing, with Covide -19. I’m so looking forward to what I enjoy in retirement, which is wood working. I’m a newbie, don’t have the equipment, don’t have the knowledge. However back in high school I finished number one in the Province of Quebec for industrial arts, which basically is wood working and metal shop. I have the passion. Can you suggest how to start off. I have a country house near Manawaki in Northern Quebec where I hunt and fish. Basically the tools and how to set up?

This is amazing! I've built a small table with an epoxy and resin table top which has that "river" effect much like the way your milky coloured shelf did. I was surprised to see that you didn't do anything to hold the two separate pieces together. I was not expecting the epoxy to hold them together so strong! During my build, I was way too worried that after my pour had dried, my table top would just split into two pieces. That's why I had two pieces of popsicle-stick-shaped wood holding the two live edges from underneath the table, then after the epoxy was poured you couldn't see them.
