I have found sometimes I can't carry that many products or not able to apply liquids. SHEET MASKS are amazing! Although it can make you look like a serial killer, it provides amazing Hydration and very soft skin

Aww, I remember those days of airline spa trips haha, now with an 18 month old daughter and my husband, I don't have time. Not to mention business class and economy instead of 1st class =[ ... I never, ever recommend people using the bathroom water on planes, totally not "clean" enough.

Great advice. Having done a few long hauls from Brisbane, Australia to London I am going to keep these tips in mind to use. What about spritzing and patting in thermal waters (I know you shouldn't let them just dry on skin) like Avene and La Roche Posay for hydration and then occlusive moisturiser to seal in the water?

Thank-you! Vitamin C in the form of such a product can be valuable - but skin needs to be calm and not bumpy first.

Loved the video! Thanks so much! Do you think this would work for me even if I am a bit prone to redness? Would love to start early enough using anti aging products! I am 29 and use only azelaic acid at the moment!
@DrSamBunting8 жыл бұрын
I think gentle retinoids and vitamin C can work just fine with redness-prone skin - just add one at a time and go slow.

Hi Dr Sam. I'm wondering if the shea butter in Obagi Hydrate is a potential problem for clog-prone skin? I'm trying to find a good moisturiser for dehydrated skin, but anything too rich gives me clogged pores on my chin. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks :)

No - I find shea butter to be fine on acne skin.

Great video, very helpful indeed. One question: what about spf? Do wear spf on the plane? :)
@DrSamBunting8 жыл бұрын
I don't - I'll reapply before landing if arriving in daytime somewhere hot.
@naughita8 жыл бұрын
Isn't it especially important to apply spf on flights due to the higher radiation in the high altitudes?
@matiss.33818 жыл бұрын
+naughita I thought so too! I think the solution could be to apply a hydrating serum and a thicker, more moisturising spf cream on top, kinda like a mask! 😊 (not sure if oily skin types would benefit from this as thicker creams could be too much..)

Any tips for the crew?!
@DrSamBunting8 жыл бұрын
Aww. this is tough! Very important to hydrate verrrrrry well before make-up application.....use something occlusive, rather than humectant (water-attracting) as the dry air will be a big challenge if doing so on a repeated basis. And stock up on good fats in your diet to build a good barrier. Happy flying!
