Love that the meals are so balanced, you havent left out any food group!

I’ve been packing for years and I feel like the biggest idiot. I never thought about rolling up meals in ziplocks. I’ve always stored mine in small gladware. This will help me pack for my full four days now. Thanks!

I’m mind blown at the ziplock method with collapsible bowl. I have that same bag and have been struggling with getting enough food for 3 days because my containers take up so much space. They are also really heavy.

Great tips, well produced and fun to watch. Fly safe and God Bless.

Awesome! I'm thinking about becoming an airline pilot and I'm allergic to 3 major food groups, I can't go out to eat really so this is helpful!

Good video what’s the name Of that ice pack which holds the ice cubes for the cooler bag ?

Hi Biilly, in the video you mentioned potentially making a video of you cooking the food. I am seeking ideas for meals that work well together. The bags you had filled looked like chicken, rice,corn, and peppers. What other meals do you bag for the 3 or 4 days. I pack mainly breakfast and snacks. Tired of not eating like I need to. Thanks!

Love this video! Thanks for putting the time into making it, I'll have to give this a try sometime. Definitely subscribing and can't wait for more videos!

Good video! I recommend you try a new cooler the EFB+Cooler II from Aerocoast if you're looking for a much better product that will keep things cold much longer and has space to organize all the pilot stuff.

Thank you for creating this. I'm going on a flight and I was curious how this was done. 👏🏾

Kudos, with all the effort. That takes real discipline. Now try that for a 14 day around the world flight. LOL I'm lucky if I can bring enough for the first leg.

Nice video. Having realized 1) I’m spending waaay too much money on the road and 2) I’m fat as fuuuuuck, I’m on a journey to look more like you and less like the StayPuff Marshmallow Man while up in the air... Meal replacement shakes- any particular brand you prefer? I’m starting with Huel, but I find myself hungry not too long after consuming it...

I always take my food on trips also, but probably for different reasons than you do. I love good food! I also love lots of fresh fruit! I like to be able to eat a good meal when I get hungry instead of eating junk on the airplane, then rushing out into the terminal between stops to get a sandwich or other yucky stuff I wouldn't normally eat. I typically take red beans and rice (with sausage, oh, and cornbread!), Ethiopian cabbage stew, roasted chicken with carrots and potatoes, sometimes fried rice... I've found that if my food isn't delicious, I'm much more likely to prefer junk food. I also bring a gallon of iced tea with me that I put in used Gatorade bottles. Otherwise, I end up drinking too many sodas! I probably eat better on the road than I do at home!

Excellent way of packing your food 🥘, you eat very small amounts!

Hey Billy great vid! What are your suggestions for eating late at night? Would you just have a shake or would you eat one of the full meals you prepared? Thanks!
@bwilson485 жыл бұрын
Try to avoid eating late. When I’m flying I try to eat around 7-8 pm. I may still go hang out with the crew when we land, and may steal a fry from someone etc, but i def wouldn’t order a meal. Thanks for the question 👊🏽

Hey Billy, I’ve been looking at the strong bag as my colleagues have recommend it for those 3-4 days. I’m curious about it’s durability (how long has it lasted you) and what EFB bag do you use in addition to bringing this cooler? Thanks in advance sir!

So my husband is an airline pilot. He DOES NOT bring his meals. Where do you warm the up at during legs?
@bwilson486 жыл бұрын
Rachel Brandt Hi Rachel, I go down on the ramp and go in the rampers’ break room. They all have microwaves in each city. However, when you go in you have to be sociable and interact. It’s not good to just go in and use the microwave without even saying Hi and asking about there day!

Hey billy, do you have trouble storing this while flying? is this in addition to your regular flight bag also?

Nice video! As a former FA, I can appreciate the /your discipline...but since I resigned to pursue another career , the vending machine is my new best friend😊. I know-shameful ! Be safe ✈

Hemion Gebr lol, i don’t bring my breakfast. I ate that at the hotels. So, yes 7 meals. Breakfast is taken care of. So all I bring is lunch and dinner and in between Snacks. May not be for you, but it worked for me. 💪🏽

What airline you fly?? Pilots always get served meal from flight attendant its part of the deal flying planes. Or its not healthy enough for you?? They serve burgers everday hehehe..
@bwilson487 жыл бұрын
xenathomas I’m a pilot for SouthWest Airlines. Unfortunately, we don’t get served food, that would be cool though. So I bring my own. Saves money too
