Thanks for the budget travel product reviews. Many of us don't travel enough or have the budget to afford or justify premium gear purchases . Often good enough at a low price is what we need .

Insane that the Tau2 still uses a proprietary charging system, with that extra bulk to carry along while traveling, might as well get a full size power bank. USB-C guys!!!

I have the Alpaka Hub pouch and can vouch for it. It's like one of the most popular EDC pouches used everywhere. I definitely vouch for them. I like how small they are. And unlike more expensive and tackier ones it's logo-free. I hate when a perfectly designed pouch has tacky logos ie some tacky looking grim reaper. The Clutch Pro I would put a red asterisk. It charges slow. Like really really really slow. Almost deal-breaker slow.

The Hub Pouch is incredible. I use mine as a tech pouch (minus the wall brick) and it’s perfect for all use cases.

A 3 pack of Eagle Creek Isolate cubes are $5.00 more than a single tortuga cube and higher rated on your site. Why not promote those instead?

Agreed, I use Eagle Creek organizer for years and those are durable, lightweight and fit very well in my backpack/suitcase.

Less of those sweet sweet affiliate dollars. The pack hacker main channel is a pure advertisement vehicle these days.

Their videos aren't just about saying what the BEST products are, they're also about introducing new products that their viewers might not have seen. Some people might prefer the more expensive Tortuga cube. You are free to buy whatever you want.

That REI pouch is tempting. I was loving my very old Lulu fanny pack that I use as a sling, but it's not made for that wear so the fabric tears at the seams. Now I'm back in my PacSafe convertible crossbody and backpack. I find I need my glasses more nowdays, gettin' old. LOL! I just shorten the straps so it fits like a sling. It also looks more professional.

I bought this pouch from REI a few years ago. It's been very useful for travel, hiking, cycling around the city, going into stadiums. It fits a lot of things and the pouch is designed like a thick clamshell. It does a great job at protecting your items. I wear it as a sling and fanny pack. Highly recommend it.

Ok so I am struggling on finding my ideal backpack. It should be waterproof, it must fit a 15.6" laptop, ideally the main compartment will open around the pack like a suitcase, I would also like to have straps pockets and an extra strap on the waist or maybe on the chest. The more pockets the better but that is not mandatory. The issue is also be available in Brazil and the cost can't be to overwelming. Any suggestion? 😅

what bag is she wearing in the final shot with the power bank?

The sad thing is, that you don't get mot of the gear in Europe. Some US or International online shope have this products, but the price for shipping and the extra VAT for the import are just crazy.

It's nice seeing battery bank recommendations that isn't the Nightcore again. Hate that thing and its flimsy usb connection and fragile construction.
@goinginzane7 ай бұрын
Those aspects of it definitely aren’t ideal, but it’s thinner and lighter than any other battery I’ve seen by a pretty good margin. Know of any comparable options?
@michaelk70077 ай бұрын
@@goinginzane that are super flat and LW, no, I really don't. The others that even try to market themselves like it are still bulkier by far. I swapped to using Anker's Nano Power Bank instead. It's similar to the ones recommended in this video. Smaller bank size (5000), and small form factor (fits in your palm), but it's thicker. It's two batteries wrapped in plastic housing basically. They're 20USD and come with a built in USB-C, but you can charge in and out of it's USB A connector if needed. Highly recommend it even if you aren't on a budget.

But I don't care because they just want to spend money on things they don't need, as a mother I prefer high quality and durable products like I did 3 years ago *condup* : Quality of LV wallets we purchased Enough for our whole family.
