Hey there GABE. Traveling in India is an adventure hands down. The spiritual journey is even far greater. I loved it when I was there in 2019. Your vlog on RISHIKESH got me to include RISHIKESH in my North India trip. Thanks a million GABE!!!!

@@GabrielTravelerVideos Really GABE my gratitude to you for showing me Rishikesh in such a cool 😎 way. I originally went there for 4 days and ended up staying for 10 and wanted more but my budget and trip time was coming to an end. The Himalayas in Himachal Pradesh in the villages of Bhalyani and Gargi were waiting for me. I have two simple yet nice vlogs on them. Have a good evening as yours is just starting a d mine is at 9:33pm marker Bigots, COLOMBIA 🇨🇴 time though I'm living in Guarne about 40 minutes away from Medellín. Hsve you ever visited Medellín? Bogota I know you have as I saw a vlog you made there or was it Cartagena in which you tell the story about how your laptop 💻 I believe was stolen out of your security locker at a hostel. Medellín is the city of eternal spring and becoming a digital nomad haven fast.
@GabrielTravelerVideos3 жыл бұрын
I haven't been to Medellin yet. Luckily I never had a laptop stolen, but my wallet was pickpocketed in Bogota. You're probably thinking of the video I made at my hostel in Cartagena talking about keeping stuff safe at hostels.
@TheEddieToro3 жыл бұрын
@@GabrielTravelerVideos Yeah that´s the one. I got my wires crossed regarding what was stolen. You should consider Medellín as it is fast beoming the most modern city in LatAm. Many foreigners are who are pensioners are loking to m,ake Medellín their home due to the weather, nice people, much lower cost of living, great things to do in and outside of the city, great health and dental care which is awhole lot more affordable than the US, etc......
@TheEddieToro3 жыл бұрын
@@GabrielTravelerVideos GABE and may I add that Medellin is a very safe places to visit for Americans, Canadians, Europeans and all compared to the Pablo Escobar dark period that brought this city and country such a bad rap. Near thiscity you can go and explore the small picturesque town of Guatapé, Peñol Rock (these first 2 are 10 minutes from each other and big on North Americans, Europeans and Asians MUST VISIOT list when in Medellín), nature stuff like Salto del Buey, Arvi park,Rio Claro natural reserve and Rio Melcocho. Rio Claro natural reserve is very special as the river has crystal clear water and there are these underground caves I hear of with water flowing through them and foreigners from Europe love going there. There are plenty guides there to take you in groups even if you don´t know the other folks. I am gonna do it this coming Holy week as my time in Colombia is drawing to a close after 9 years here. I´m gonna go out and live my dream of traveling the world to the destinations I want to get to know, make travel vlogs about those placers with some being about tips and recommendations and all the while working as an online English language teacher through Skype, WhatsApp and Google Meet as I am doing now from my dad´s countryhouse here in Guarne, Antioquia, Colombia. Just to et you and all know I´m Colombian-American. I was born and bred in the US, mostly South Carolina and Georgia and my teens in Queens, NY.

Travelling in our country's buses is really easy and cheap, you don't have to book ticket first, just ask the people around there which bus will go and they'll guide you, then after getting inside, the bus conductor will come to you and charge for ticket. But on the other otherhand it quite risk and dangerous also as they sometimes drives too much reckless which causes most number of accidents compared to other countries.

But you need visa and complications due to that, in fact this applies to most african countries. I cant even find any useful information where and how i can get visa for tanzania
@TheSwede703 жыл бұрын
@@dreamthedream8929 Most countries can get a visa on arrival, like I did. Where did you do your research? Or did you just write here making something up? :-) I dont know you residency so I cant answer for you, if you need a visa or not.
@dreamthedream89293 жыл бұрын
@@TheSwede70 this is true, you are from Sweden I am from Latvia and there isn't even enough visa information for Tanzania. When I went to South Africa I had to do loads of paperwork in the embassy in Stockholm and slept at the airport in Namibia because people from my organisation told me that I could simply go to Namibia without visa. These African countries can be tricky. Thats why we Europeans dont go to them much. We can go to the canary Islands, reunion, madeira, martinique, guadeloupe and the azores freely without any such worries
@TheSwede703 жыл бұрын
@@dreamthedream8929 It is always important to check the latest of course. Out of 78 countries visited now, Tanzania must have been one of the easiest to get a visa on arrival. It is all over the internet, this information. So easy with Tanzania. There are far more worse countries in terms of information. You can go here tomorrow and get the visa on arrival. That is the rules right now. 50 USD in cash and you are in.
@dreamthedream89293 жыл бұрын
@@TheSwede70 how do you know this? Where is the link? They also told me just like that how easy it is to go to namibia and get visa there upon the arrival and i slept at the airport a few nights there until the embassy sorted out the situation. No more

Great video, I love seeing the roads less traveled. I'm just curious but when you do go off the beaten track and into these small villages, where do you stay and how do you communicate? It seems hotels and English is almost non-existent in these type of places.
@GabrielTravelerVideos3 жыл бұрын
I stayed at a guest house in the village. I forget how I found out about it but I might have just showed up without knowing if there was a place to stay. English is pretty commonly spoken around India but otherwise you manage to get by. For example when looking for the right bus all you need to know is the name of wherever you're going and then ask around, it doesn't even matter if anyone speaks English, they'll point you in the right direction.
