I am sure that I am not the only one that will say this but it so much fun to watch many of the recent videos that you have done because more of your personality comes through, and that makes us feel that we area there with you. This was fun because all of us that travel know these feelings of stress followed by happiness from getting closer to your final destination followed by more stress, happiness, etc. Thank you for saving a seat on your train/bus/train/bus for us.

Wow that was quite and adventure and glad you arrived safe. Good you had help from people along the way. I find it is always an adventure when you travel. So far when going to the Philippines the only problems I have had is getting from the airport to the hotel. I did have a bit of an adventure when landing in Tokyo and did not know I had to go to a different airport for my connecting flight. I only found out by hearing other people talking about it. When I got off the plane I went to the information desk and was told the last bus was leaving in 5 mins. The ladies there were very nice and even helped me with my luggage to make sure I caught the bus. I am sure it is a bigger adventure these days due to covid and all the changing rules depending on where you are going. Hope you have fun in Colombia and can't wait for your next video. Keep smiling and stay safe

Informative video Tah. Thank you very much. Looks like you definitely encountered some "Tourist" travel issues. One never knows if they are going to spend a couple of weeks, or over a month in a certain place if they've never been there before. So it's difficult to determine in advance a date of return. You never know how Customs Officials will respond. Praying always for healthy and safe travels for you. 🙏

One trick to show a leaving flight from any country is to buy a fully refundable flight to anywhere. And then once you get there, apply for the refund and you are free to choose next destination. Yes it is expensive flight if refundable but you get all back.

Ah yes the journey. To me it is like distilling travel into one pure crystal. In that crystal are all of the aspects of being a traveler. apprehension/excitement, happy/sad, new/familiar, great people/jerks. When your traveling days are over the trick is to have a lovely piece of "memory" jewelry made up of these magic crystals.

Hey Tah, first of all, wow I’m glad you arrived in Columbia safely! I want to share my experience of having had weak passport and your struggle wasn’t alone! I used to have a Chinese passport and it’s one of the most useless passports. My husband is Australian and we used to travel quite a lot and I ALWAYS had to apply for a visa to go anywhere and he never needed a visa except going to China and Vietnam. It was a costly and annoying process for me but I never have had much trouble dealing with immigration officers or at airline check in once they’ve seen my visas. Now i have my Australian passport and we travelled overseas for the first time since the pandemic and I’m surprised how much I’ve been grilled by immigration officers. Arriving in the US on ESTA, the officer refused to believe that we were moving on to Mexico because i hadn’t booked us a flight leaving the US to Mexico. I had to show him all our Airbnb bookings to reassure him that we did NOT want to stay in his country. He finally let us in after I showed him our final outbound flight from US back to Australia. We had no issue getting into Mexico but when checking in our flight to go to Costa Rica i had to show the airline staff our flight leaving Costa Rica as a requirement for her to issue our boarding pass. So yeah i learned that even though now i have a seemingly strong passport as Australian passport holders can get to so many countries without a visa but most border controls still want to make sure that we have a ticket out of their country within 90 days usually. Hope it helps!!! Stay safe & enjoy your time in Columbia ❤️

It's like that in many countries regardless of country of passport. When I arrived in Costa Rica this past July the immigration officer wanted to see my departure date. I had it printed out on paper which is much easier than risking trying to bring it up on my phone without wifi. Philippines is also notorious. They won't let you fly to the Philippines if you can't show a departure date. One vlogger made a video in Vietnam where he arrived at the airport but he lost his departure ticket from the Philippines. The agent won't let him check in. He had to buy a new ticket so he can board. Best to buy a throw away ticket if you're unsure what country you want to visit next. liveinthephilippines.com/onward-ticket-throwaway-ticket/

I’ve seen that issue with onward tickets from time to time. I usually get one that you have a 24 hour window to cancel, and cancel after arriving 😄 I’ve finally made it to Bangkok. I felt like I had an encyclopaedia of paperwork just to get out the airport, but one day later, and a negative test, I’m free to go 😆

There's a website that rents a air ticket for 24 hours. It's a commonly known fact that you are supposed to have an exit FLIGHT... onward travel. Did you do the required form with check mig (colombia migracion)... you get 90 days automatically. No more. No less

Hi Tah! Love your vlogs and story telling skills. I just wanted to ask you a technical question... When you are done with editing your (let's say 10 minutes long) video, how many gigabytes it has for YT upload? And what are the rendering settings you use in Premiere Pro... Oh, and how much time it takes you to upload such video on YT? I am making a video for school project but it already has 5Gb for 30 seconds only? I must have mistaken some settings in Premiere Pro... Hope to see more of your videos and more often soon! Thanks for your hard work and keep on doing great things!

@@TahJetiyamon Thanks for your kind reply! It's not too late :) I realized my render settings were way too high so I lowered my bitrate settings. Looking forward to your future videos and goodluck wherever you are!

Next time, you can just plan ahead and buy a refundable ticket that you can refund as soon as you land in the country. Lots of people do this. There are also websites where you can pay a small amount to get a temporary one way ticket. It will definitely take the stress off next time, and you also don't have to make a permanent decision so far in advance. Good luck in Colombia!
