I was very happy to see that this trolley is still in service. The last time I rode this was way back in 1998. This street car runs on about two miles of track in Edmonton, Alberta. The street car crosses a magnificent bridge that is 2,478 ft (755 m) long, 160 ft (49 m) high, and was built in 1913. It was originally a 3 track bridge. The car we are riding in is a 1947, W class, tram from Melbourne, Australia. Video was taken in 2023. More infomation can be found here www.edmontonst...

I first walked across the 9th street bridge in June of '71. Beautiful then and it looks like it's beautiful still.

I rode the Melbourne 930 tram in Edmonton a few days ago. What an amazing ride. The view from the High Level Bridge was spectacular. I'm glad the Edmonton Radial Railway Society continues to operate this, and I'm also wishing that this was part of the Edmonton Transit System. This was a great tram to ride between Downtown and Whyte Ave.

Thanks for the history lesson and the great ride. This brings back memories of riding the St. Louis Interurban back in the early fifties. My parents didn't have an automobile then, and we lived on the East Side. My mother would take me on the streetcar from our home to were the shopping was at the time.
