Nice vlog. Very informative especially for me who is planning to go to US. So the hassle part is returning home. You have to shell out money for that hotel thing and the swab test that is very costly for 4k. I hope the govt should find a way to lessen the burden esspecially from those countries that were no longer threats ftom covid. As we all know that 80% of the people in US were fully vacvinated. So maybe quarantine from home might be a consideration. And this , we can help bring back the tourism at its best.

They must also complete the registration process and pay a separate testing fee. For minimized discomfort, infants will be swabbed through the mouth.

So a vaccinated US citizen, (USA a VISA free country), upon arrival to the Manila airport needs to have the a 10-14 day quarantine hotel reservation, eCIF, TRAZE app, Affidavit of Undertaking then the vaccinated USA citizen may stay in the Philippines up to 30 days without a VISA, correct?

Hey Russel! The affidavit of undertaking is basically a form where you're agreeing to do a 10 day hotel quarantine once you arrive in Manila. Not yet a US Citizen so we used our PH Passport. For our Hotel, we stayed in Berjaya Hotel in Makati for $70/night. Including 3 meals per day. It's pretty decent, wifi is kinda unstable and AC not that cold.

Thanks for the video. Interesting how it worked for PAL. I took United instead, SFO to Seoul to Manila because PAL canceled our flight and I couldn't rebook except for an over priced business class which I declined. I Arrived last June 10 at terminal 1. I think you arrived at Terminal 2? Just a small correction. As Terminal 1 and 2 seem to have a bit different protocol with arrivals. I wasn't required to wear a face shield through flight, just a face mask.

Philippine Airlines is the strictest airlines since it's a Philippine company, I guess. I was shocked to see Jethro wearing the shield on the entire flight. Wow. I went to Pinas last may using Delta and Korean Air. I only wore the face shield when we landed in Manila. The face shield is only required, by law, at the airport. But I guess PAL wanted to impress the government, so they required it on their flights. That's why no other international airlines require it.
