It’s intriguing isn’t it? I really enjoy them! Seeing all kinds of sea life dissected and made into several different dishes. People eating it raw! After seeing it dissected I don’t think I could eat it raw!! And it’s so wild that this thing was still alive for so long after sooo many slices with the knife! Like what in the actual fuk? Does it move around in the persons mouth like that?!? Eek! But I love it!

The secret to long life in Okinawa is the fresh food that is available. The markets are everywhere and plenty of fresh food for preparation or prepared is readily available. Many Okinawan people work well into their latter years and it is considered honorable to be working up to the point of death. Once you acquire a taste for eating like this you really do not yearn for anything else. I used to enjoy the dried cuttlefish. It is like seafood beef jerky
@hypno_bunny2 жыл бұрын
I was lucky enough to try a single piece of cuttlefish sashimi back in 1998 (when I was 17). It was one of the most amazing pieces of sashimi I have ever tried. It had a texture unlike anything else and a slight saltiness without being fishy. I have been looking for a place that sells it EVER SINCE. Unfortunately without success. I'm 41 now and I don't know that I'll ever get to have it again.

To all the people complaining about the animal moving: It is merely just nerves acting out on the muscles after the brain is dead. Please find a better argument then just “How could they do this? It’s still moving!” Also, it is not animal abuse. It is part of the food chain, just like how the moose is part of the wolves’ diet.

Which is base on tomyam,curry,fried n side dishes like snack.That basically you need way patience that you could imagine..needs preparing from basic, not that from ready to cook ingredients. But,in end of it..it really satisfying

KissyDivvy ink soup is actually quite nice. Not fishy at all.

Ink soup is really tasty, the smell is mouth watering as well. Closing your eyes might help.

As much as I think cuttlefish and octopus are cute, this kind of makes me sad. But at least they will be using just about every single part of this. Unlike shark fin soup where the cut their fins off and throw them back into the ocean to die ....that is horrible and an abomination.

От этого взгляда каракатицы, мне сразу расхотелось животной пищи,

+Soulless Raven I was watching and can't think of a more horrible and cruel way of dying. Not too mention, the terror that all of these living, breathing and feeling animals endure. That being said, this video and many others like it, are some of the most interesting and educational films I've seen in a while.

I wonder how bad things got when the first person thought ... "That looks nice enough to eat" 😣
@mcarman4306 жыл бұрын
Think about the French. It got bad enough they started eating snails and it stayed bad long enough that they started liking it more than real food. They didn’t even quit when things got better.
