thank you sooo much for this tutorial! I was looking for ways to create a glitter material over a two-colorgradient, to reacreate a brand book material; so i made two glossy materials with different color base for each (added noise and gradient end everything you said), and kept golden (yellow+specular on) "glitter" in each of them. then i put them two in octane mix material and mixed it with marble effect. now it looks just like i wanted it to. Thank you so so much, I found your video just in time!

Can you animate the octane noise like the standard Cinema4d one?

Yes you can, there's a circle icon on the left that is next to each property, like the octave and omega and if u click that circle it turns red and automatically creates a keyframe on the timeline. So now u can move forward in the timeline, adjust the value and then click that circle again to make another keyframe and it will be animated between those 2 values you selected.
