This album came out in 2001 at a time when I was at the crossroads of my life. I was 30 years old and lost in life, lost in myself. Little did I know then that I made the best decision ever to move away from my hometown to test myself, my resilience, my intelligence, my abilities... Then, slowly but surely things fell into place for me. I am now 53, a professional, married to a wonderful man, a home owner with two beautiful dogs and a few genuine friends. I am still listening to Travis today and this song is a particular favorite for many reasons. I got to see them twice: Dublin 2018 and Edinburgh 2022. Anyway, my point is, never miss an opportunity to change your situation. If it feels right, it is, trust me. Keep listening ❤

This song was always thought provoking to me and still is. 20 years ago when I heard this I was 20 and thought that it was very relatable and kind of a song for daydreamers. Now at 40 I look at it and think if you want your grass green and a life of harmony just water your own grass and take care of what is within your control in a positive loving way so that it may project and be accepted by the community you create.
