I just put Powerhobby belted tires on my 4S Outcast and they are WAY MORE stable and track straighter than the stock tires. Stock tires are better in loose/soft stuff but the Powerhobby tires are so much better on hard surfaces.

Great review! I have the Orange XRT 🤑, most parts from the X-Maxx will fit it too such has wheels/tires(24mm hex rear/17mm front), wheelie bar, and light kits. I just installed all three of those accessories on the XRT. I'm keeping it all stock mostly 🤔I even did the Traxxas 6700mah batts with the Traxxas dual charger. Also Powerhobby has a lot of wheels/tires for the X-Max/XRT such as the Powerhobby Raptor XL Belted Tires / Viper Wheels got them in orange too 😊 Going to Pimp it in Orange,Red and Silver....of course Skin the chassis too (Darkside Studio Arts or RC Skinz)😱 Have a good one!

it never ceases to amaze me how people can mess up a good system. I bought this from a guy who got it at the local hobby shop. So the first thing I did was go to the hobby shop, and look for cool add ons. They are still selling the same model, kraton 6s, right now. They said they didn't have anything, it's good, I just drive it and break it and Then fix it up. I said maybe I should get an extra battery. They slap two 3s packs on the counter, then a different kind, I wanted to keep it simple so I got the truck and brought it in, so they could see my 6500 Lectron pro. He slaps that kind on the counter and says This is the exact same kind you have now. I said ok, it will be fun with twice the run time. So I'm taking the original Lectron out of the truck, and see that... it does not fit, in the battery compartment, it's just pushed up against the part that covers the top, so it is sitting an inch or more back, from where it should be. So my rig is not balanced the way it should be. I could destroy my chassis and cut the top cover part off. I could try to exchange the new battery for one that actually fits. But that guy had to know these don't fit, and he didn't say a word, because it's 20 more than the double 3s option. And I'm not even trying to rewire it so it takes two batteries, instead of the one that's too big. I like balance. My name is In the word balance. This is a ready to run, amazing rig that needs no extra power, and yet, they managed to unbalance the one thing that they possibly could. And now I have two. I just kinda sit back and stare into space, about it. I can't even take it back and ask... it's just such a ridiculous situation. I'll just cut the chassis.

I can honestly say, I am underwhelmed by this new offering from Traxxas. I don't know, maybe I'm just jaded. But, I believe the Xmaxx is a far better investment than this new Truggy. I already own the Kraton 8S EXB. So, it doesn't make any sense for me to consider this RC. But, everyone is entitled to like whatever they like.

Got the Orange XRT today with the X Maxx light kit and the Traxxas 6700batts withvDual charger. Looking for Tires will the SRC Sweep "s fit? Looking for chrome rims or the Duratrax Belted Bandits...Maxx and XMaxx light kits should fit the XRT🤔

I have a venom charger, and Lipo batteries, I'm charging one right now. I would appreciate any advice on battery maintenance, I'm not sure if I should always use the storage charge setting when I'm not using it, or just keep it kinda low if I'm not going to use it for a week... And I don't even know how to do the storage charge. I tried and it set the alarm off. I'm doing the balance charge setting, and I'll drive off a little of the charge before I let it sit for a few days. I'm thinking that will be ok.
