Am I wrong in thinking he’s underutilizing his lower half? His stride looks like it’s a little truncated and hips turn just slightly early. If he could stride a bit more and keep his hips closed longer, I feel like the location would be better.

I think you’re right with your analysis. One thing most people miss when looking at mechanics is individualisation. His physical anatomy make up probably makes this work for him and tinkering can sometimes do more damage than harm. I would love to know more of his metrics and analysis, he’s a very smooth and fluent thrower!
