I hated cardio machines but after beeing chased twice while running outside i only run inside on the treadmill. Nothing like outside but a lot safer for women.

I feel bad for you! I do prefer running on a treadmill but everyone should be able to do whatever they feel like...

I had some serious knee pain so I stopped running outside and bought a cushioned treadmill to protect my joints. Now I can run more often and for longer

Ahaha I can imagine :) Try running faster instead of taking big strides. More steps instead of bigger steps :D It will help your power, speed, glute muscles etc.

Should you run everyday for 15-30 min?

If you're a beginner, I would do it every other day. If you're not, 15-30 minutes per day of jogging sounds good.
