@@KingPepper41 I used to manage a Dominoes, If you think their food is bad, Pizza Huts is worse frozen Dough, and Dominoes is real Dough, you have to proof it for the yeast to make it rise. But you cant eat it everyday, it will make you ill.

yes seen when fish is on the chips and then the batter get soggy from the heat off the chips. the sausage and pie are denser items and will retain heat. and any way you can eat both that sausage and pie cold anyway. you can not do that for the fish

Catering sausage enjoyed. That well known combination of sausage and tartare sauce tried. This guy is a beaut..... This curry has a smell ... 🤣🤣🤣 Gravy, grunts, mentions Yorkshire. Sounds akin to dodgy 80's adult films. He likes to flip his pies over for the crusty bottom and smell of ale. I think he maybe pst.... Sings a song about the pie, then looks at fish and suddenly now the attention is on the cod which he decides is fresh cod, based on nothing. Final review is mainly based on one chip being big which excites him (and me) a bit. He's still unaware that granules and hot water = gravy. Takes KZbin money and laughs to bank manager. Good on yer Danny x

I myself would not be worried too much by the batter being just a trifle slick, not forgetting that these fishes on thier little dishes are STEAMED in thier crispy coating, it's when you stick it in your OM GOB!! that u realise how the crunchy/fish, or, as we say in E. Yorkshire, "crunchifish" contrast hits your mouthparts with a blast of pure JOY! I too am fond of a pie. The true baking laurels, I fear, lie in The North West. Samuel L Jackson has left us in no doubt about that. Nice one Danny. 🌟👍

So when I come back for a holiday I watch these sorts of programs to see where to go for decent fish and chips 🍟. When I lived in London all my life I hardly ever went up north. I've been buying take away hot pies and sausage rolls from Morrisons in Verwood Dorset for more than a decade and I've never had a bad one - always excellent in fact. A long way to drive for you just for those so you might like to try your local branch. Just a suggestion.

Finally I find someone else who eats a pie from the bottom up, which you can only do when it's fully encased in pastry. As far as I'm concerned it's making the initial inspection and makes the final cut so much more pleasurable in most instances. Every time I see these fish and chip videos I can't help but be reminded I used to get a massive fish and a huge bag of chips with peas and curry sauce on my way home from high school for £3.50! Was enough to feed 2-3. Though that was back in 2003-2005 or so. Prices are crazy these days.

You're order is exactly what this Canadian would ask for on his first trip to England Plenty of vinegar and salt please...Blue lips no problem ! lol Dad use to take us to a Fish And chippy in Canada that was olde school English Down to the fish in rolled newspaper And we go to Lake Ontario (One of the great lakes) to eat it Beach side with malt vinegar - Really good memories If you ever come to Toronto ..Poutine is fair. Buffalo wings is about a 3hr drive to Buffalo Montreal is 5 hrs (French Canadian foods is really good : Joe Beef, Montreal smoked meat) And we have some of the best fish in Northern Ontario Pike,Trout,Bass,whitefish,Perch etc etc Find someone local And they will set you up with moose stew
